@LuxWade @slmandel “Texas Tech is not in that lawsuit” is a hilarious sentence. They aren’t named, no, but they are literally THE ONLY ones who even remotely think this is a good decision, and certainly the only ones who benefit. Objectivity from a 2x Texas Tech alum isn’t realistic though.

They didn’t pursue. Sorsby pursued. Texas Tech is not in that lawsuit. The seemed him ineligible, he goes to treatment, they were willing to welcome him back on-conditions of a treatment plan. I don’t think anyone thought that judge was gonna overturn this let alone with just 2 games.

@slmandel All the more reason to tell his AD they shouldn’t have pursued eligibility as hard as they have - but the press conference where he went hard regarding addiction and made some comparisons that were suspect was not a great look either
