My team and I started 9GAG in 2008 as bored degen uni students. Just a side project for the lols, no big plans, just a love for memes. We kept our day jobs for years. Fast forward to today: 200M+ people share memes on 9GAG every month. Now the next chapter is here. Making @Memeland one of the strongest Web3 companies to ever exist. I'll be the first to admit that it hasn't been easy sailing BUT like any new frontier, success is accompanied by lessons that are learned along the way. With that being said, our team is stronger than ever, and the core believers behind Memeland have remained united, even through the harshest conditions. Memeland is here to stay. Planted.

The Pikachu Illustrator card has now reached a valuation of $5.1M, and it’s officially confirmed that the @memeland team will be attending the event on Feb 16, along with a live stream.
So here’s my take
I think there’s a high chance that @9gagceo will place a bid on the card.
Even if he doesn’t win, the media exposure alone, with the whole world watching, would be huge.
But if he does win?
I’m almost certain the team would tokenize the card on-chain on Solana through their own company.
It would likely become one of the most high-profile tokenized RWA collectibles in crypto history.
And of course, that would perfectly promote Grade10 Vault, their new product.
Does this make sense?
