It’s fascinating how reactive the market is to everything Anthropic puts out. Nobody even knows how good it will be and Figma is tumbling due to it. Just like cyber security stocks downturn when mythos was announced, only for it to end up being a reinforcement for the industry

@skeeto111 Yep. Just got a reputation that became impossible to shed

@michaelcarp0 I fly Spirit fairly frequently. It's the same experience as Southwest except for half the price of southwest. Only meaningful difference is southwest gives you free soda and snacks, that's the only significant difference in quality
English

Spirit Airlines gets a bad rap while Southwest just skates on by being as bad or worse. Big Front Seat is also better than any domestic flight seats
unusual_whales@unusual_whales
Spirit Airlines is at risk of being liquidated as soon as this week, per Bloomberg.

@tarakeeney You mean you shouldn’t send an extremely long email, follow up email with no news, then send a third email saying “well I guess now is not the right time, if you change your mind …” ?

@Mt__K50 @jjacky @paularambles It’s not necessary to participate in society at this moment so it’s really not the meme
English

i didn’t realize how bad it was until i saw this comment section on instagram

hope hopes hoping@hopes_revenge
seems really bad

@Mt__K50 @jjacky @paularambles I have had half of my annoyed at me replies say I don’t know anyone who uses it and the other half say it’s so prevalent that it’s a must to participate in society. A bit of a dilemma
English

@paularambles I’d love to see how many of them asked ChatGPT how to resist AI
English

@jjacky @paularambles All while they all use it in many different ways
English

@paularambles if you go outside the tech twitter bubble, you won't be surprised by how prevalent anti-ai sentiment is

@mrcanman20 They’re winning games in spite of him. Hes a bad decision maker
English

@michaelcarp0 yeah, he didn’t even argue it. what pussy shit is that?

@branrussell9 @burghbulletin the lineup is set in a way that order hasn’t reflected opportunity. Horwitz stranded like 6 guys from the 7 spot today
English

@burghbulletin Got to move him down the order at least, so often he’s up to the plate in a big spot
English

@recksonite @DavidSacks @zerohedge In an old playbook, sure. Exposing risks that they have an answer for is how Anthropic markets. It’s extremely effective for the AI industry
English

@DavidSacks @zerohedge Not sure what your point is here.
The Mythos wolf looks bigger, scarier and more imminent than the other examples you’ve raised.
But more importantly, we should be applauding sounding the alarm. Most corporations usually try bury risks.

ESPN app is trash now but my goodness the comparison here is way worse. If I’m looking for play by play of a game and I see emojis, comments and a crowded screen like that, I’m never touching it again
Alex Monahan@Amonahan
1) ESPN (worth $30B) - the ugliest app you've ever seen 2) Real Sports (a start-up) - actually good... This is why start-ups win. They actually give a fuck about their customers.

@TheHoopCentral @ohnohedidnt24 He thought he was Curt Cignetti

"Look at my resume and Google me. I took teams to the playoffs and championship that weren't supposed to be there. I thought this was one of them.”
— Shams on what Doc Rivers said to the Bucks in a team meeting. 😳
