@waifusquadvinyl I really like this when this happens at outdoor classic car shows in the US too. I wonder how hard it'd be to display some in-progress restomod projects in the trunk...

One of the things that stood out to me about Japanese itasha is the showmanship. Dioramas set up in front of their car, sneakers that match their car, turf mats and running shoes among Uma itashas, spare parts lying by the side of the car to turn a parked car into an exhibit.

@mintopinto76 Got a question, mate. What engine is your Pinto running? Asking out of curiosity as I drive an 88 Sierra and people keep referring to its 1.6 OHC engine as a “Pinto” motor. That as well as the 1.8 and 2.0l OHCs.

in case any of you are freaked out, the grem was facing forward, but the physics of the downforce of the wind probably turned it to be aerodynamically glued to the mostly smooth top of the car

I forgot that I placed this grem on the top of the car and it survived the entire trip back from CarrierCon day 1

Concert over. Work done for day. Rode back to hotel in the Minto Pinto.
