The NCAA is exploring a significant change to its eligibility rule, per Yahoo Sports’ @RossDellenger. Next week, an NCAA committee will discuss a new age-based standard for athlete eligibility that would grant athletes five full years of eligibility from the time of their 19th birthday or their high school graduation. No waiver requests, redshirts or exceptions will be permitted, except for a small group of outliers (those on maternity leave, military service or religious missions).

@LariatNLakeLife Laziness ruined the game, this is just a great example of it. Refs stopped calling this, players stopped playing defense and the league eased up the rules to try and create a "good" product. The result is the lowest ratings in history and a garbage product

This is annoying:
1. He is a 1st FA after this yr with $500M on the line
2. Pitching in a game this weekend removes an Opening Day schedule, for the team paying him $32M this yr

RUMOR: Michigan players were apparently caught hotboxing in the locker room, according to an Ohio State site called “Buckeye Scoop.” [Swipe for 🎥] If true this is not a good look at all for the Wolverines and their locker room culture. It’s hard to tell when this took place based on the video, but we are assuming this was recently. Theoretically I guess smoking weed is legal Michigan, but it still shouldn’t be happening in the locker room. Thoughts? 💭

As I continue to watch football this weekend it is obvious that I hate the Lions approach to the DLine. Miami, Texans, Patriots, Seahawks are just absolutely loaded on the DLine and cause all the havoc. Getting a real edge opposite of hutch would take the Lions D the next level.
