LeBron James has 13,378 more points, 6,881 more rebounds & 7,427 more assists than Michael Jordan in 660 more games. "Longevity" you say. Not impressive. To match LeBron's current career totals, MJ would have to come out of retirement (again) and average the following over 660 games: 20.3 PPG - 10.4 RPG - 11.3 APG - 65.8% TS MJ would have to produce like a more efficient version of Magic Johnson for over 8 STRAIGHT SEASONS, on top of what he already did, to match LeBron's career. LeBron will never be as loved as Jordan, but he is the superior player.

Or you would funnel through an organization and pay all of your other lifelong politicians who keep getting richer. None of your taxes have done anything to help Americans. The $$$ goes to your pocket.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

@Lynn_Henning Stop Lynn. Everyone knows there is cheating going on andits been proven. If there wasnt any cheating, no one would have a problem with making the easy change of having to show photo id when voting

There is nothing wrong with our voting system. There is nothing wrong with mail-in votes. Nothing wrong, or inaccurate, with any voting procedure in any state. All secure and safeguarded. What's wrong is a madman's devotion to a lie, and the ongoing price American democracy pays.

@OPSenheimer @ChrisBrown0914 Small portion is what I am getting at. We are less than 10 games in and people jump into blaming Baseball is a grind. To jump down on the bats for a tough game or two silly. Some days u will score 5 in one inning. Others u will score 1 in 5 different innings

@LariatNLakeLife @ChrisBrown0914 When it’s been 4 of the 5, it is kind of a daily occurrence. I’m not sure what you are getting at here. This is a trend so far in the small portion of the season.

Obviously the bullpen is the main culprit here, but the Tigers offense has been so hot and cold to start the year. They have 6 hits tonight, and all came in the 3rd inning. Just two baserunners since. And they scored all 6 runs last night in a single inning.

This is as about an accurate statement as could be made. Not new for Lions. Calvin and Franks injuries are well documented though. A real org would honor that. Curious to see how many other orgs do this.
Jason Kelce@JasonKelce

This is interesting. It feels like it’s obvious that Frank retired because he was physically fighting through injuries and pain, and it got to a point that he no longer could play the game in an enjoyable, effective, or healthy way. The whole purpose of a signing bonus is to be a guarantee up front that insures a salary irregardless of performance metrics, or most importantly injuries that could compromise your career in the future. What makes this interesting is that Frank likely retired “voluntarily”, meaning, he wasn’t declared medically unfit to play by a doctor, which allows the team to ask for a prorated amount of his signing bonus back. Had he been medically deemed unfit to play football by a doctor before he retired, the team wouldn’t be able to recoup part of the signing bonus. Let me say this first, if a player truly just retires without reason, or because they’ve lost the desire to play, I completely get and acknowledge teams should be able to recoup compensation when players don’t fulfill there contractual obligations and agreements. However, Frank was known for being hurt and playing through injuries most players wouldn’t play through constantly. Broken foot, a torn pec, multiple knee injuries, back issues. There was always something, and I’m sure he was continuously dealing with multiple ailments to try and continue playing the game. His body clearly had deteriorated to a degree that made football no longer a viable option, physically, and probably mentally. In my opinion, the signing bonus is supposed to protect players from future physical ailments limiting their availability on the field, that’s one of the reasons you want more guaranteed money upfront. So while I get that the team has a right to ask for money back, in the spirit of the agreement, I think it’s bullshit Frank is being asked to return money. This was clearly a player that the game had physically taken its toll on, and his body was clearly no longer holding up to the rigors of the NFL. It wasn’t just some player deciding he didn’t want to play anymore, it wasn’t that simple, and these signing bonuses are there to protect players from the inevitable injuries they incur on the field.

@LariatNLakeLife @ChrisBrown0914 Obviously that’s the case. Otherwise the Tigers would never lose. But that doesn’t make what Chris said any less true. Having one large inning and then freezing up the rest of the game isn’t good.

The NFL will no longer have multiple Monday Night Football games at the same time after experimenting with that in recent years, per NFL executive Hans Schroeder. Those extra games will be placed elsewhere on the schedule, including a potential Thanksgiving Eve game.

Can this narrative go away and die forever? It’s such a stupid angle. My son is 6. He didn’t attend Michigan so I guess he’s out? I never played for the Tigers or worked for any branch of Comerica — can I cheer for them? My dad went to U-M but only for one year before he decided to become a millwright and start his own company. Did he go long enough to be a fan? Seriously….dumb af.
Barstool Sports@barstoolsports

How many Michigan fans actually attended the school? The fellas (@danabeers + @KaticMichael) were at the scene to find out as the Wolverines squared off against Tennessee @DrinkBODYARMOR
