Today, February 12th, marks my PhD-versary 🥳 It's been a big year: I decided to leave academia. I am now 300% focused on finding a job in a new field, but I am by no means walking away from science and philosophy. So watch this space - writing is coming🤓

@benblumson Those sound plausible to me! I hadn't thought of Armstrong for the second one. The "clever fellow" phrasing led me to think it was someone more junior; and it's perhaps surprising that Lewis would associate Armstrong with epistemology then. But I don't have a better suggestion!

My 11.5 years at Birmingham have been splendid. Now with @FraMEPhys winding down, I'll be moving to the University of Leeds from 1st September. I'm looking forward to a new environment with many old friends/colleagues - and a history & philosophy of science unit!
