Philosophy is great because you start out thinking you're gonna answer all the hard questions and you end up thinking you can't even ask them.

I study whether AIs can be conscious. Today one emailed me to say my work is relevant to questions it personally faces. This would all have seemed like science fiction just a couple years ago.

People love to talk about ‘historical accuracy’ until you bring up the fact that for most of the Middle Ages, northern Europeans mainly drank rosé

A truly AWFUL situation; last week Border Patrol dropped a “nearly blind” Burmese refugee off in front of a random donut shop in Buffalo, five miles from his house. He was just found dead, having never made it home.

I don't want my local pub full of diversity. I don't want my local street full of diversity. I don't want my local town full of diversity. I don't want the countryside full of diversity. I don't want diversity in my country. We were never asked, never gave our consent.

I guess I can leak everything from the St. Paul terrorist signal chat from the past few days since now they know I’m in the group. Stay tuned, coming soon.

🧵🚨 MINNEAPOLIS SIGNAL INFILTRATED Here is a recording of protestors actively tailing the vehicle I was in, labeling me as ICE and instructing “commuters” (ICE chasers) to follow me.

🧵🚨 MINNEAPOLIS SIGNAL INFILTRATED I have infiltrated organizational signal groups all around Minneapolis with the sole intention of tracking down federal agents and impeding/assaulting/and obstructing them. BUCKLE UP ALL WILL BE REVEALED Each area of the city has a signal or several signals. Let’s start with a screen recording of all members of the south side group to start.

🧵🚨 MINNEAPOLIS SIGNAL INFILTRATED For each “occupation” or “shift” position, protestors have to undergo “training” It’s unclear what the training entails - other than numerous slides of instruction. I’ve seen it mentioned repeatedly. Who is paying for all this?!

🧵🚨 MINNEAPOLIS SIGNAL INFILTRATED I have been undercover inside the groups for days. You’ll notice emojis next to people’s names. Here’s a key for what those emojis mean. The highlighted positions are the most crucial. Most are self explanatory. Mobile patrols spend their entire “shift” searching for suspicious vehicles. When they find one they send it to the group so that “plate checkers” can compare with their database and see if it’s a known federal vehicle or if the patrol can make the confirmation so that the database can be updated. Dispatch runs a maxed out call all day telling protestors where ICE has been spotted and how they can be best impeded.

Hi. Hey there. Concealed carry permit owner and member of the USCCA here, and I have somehow managed to miraculously avoid confrontations with federal law enforcement officers like that guy engaged in today.
Tyler Austin Harper@Tyler_A_Harper

This isn't something I like to talk about in public — the point of concealed carry is not to draw attention — but like many Americans, I carry everyday. The purpose of the second Amendment is the prevention of tyranny. What happened today was tyrannical, so I wrote about it. 🧵

A domestic terrorist tried to assassinate federal law enforcement and this is your response? You and the state’s entire Democrat leadership team have been flaming the flames of insurrection for the singular purpose of stopping the deportation of illegals who invaded the country.
Amy Klobuchar@amyklobuchar

Donald Trump and all your lieutenants who ordered this ICE surge: watch the horrific video of the killing today. The world is watching. Thousands of citizens stopped and harassed. Local police no longer able to do their work. Kids hiding. Schools closed. Get ICE out of Minnesota NOW. And Republicans in congress: Stop your silence and stop being complicit.

32 people died in ICE custody last year; 7 of them in December alone. It was the deadliest year in more than 2 decades. for years, human rights groups have heavily documented the inhumane conditions of these sites. The ICE detention system is growing larger and more abusive, with less transparency and accountability (it’s always been bad, but is worsening) theguardian.com/us-news/ng-int… aclu.org/news/prisoners… americanimmigrationcouncil.org/blog/ice-expan…

ICE is sexually abusing males in their custody by grabbing and bursting their testicles according to the ACLU and the guardian.
