One year ago I stood on the Senate floor for 25 hours and 5 minutes, lifting up the stories of Americans who have been hurt by this administration's chaos, corruption and cruelty.  It was a call for every American, to stand up in any way they can for the values that have always made our country great, and delivered us through our most challenging moments.  I’m in awe of the fight I’ve seen from Americans every day since.  Our work is far from over, but in the year since this speech, our resolve to redeem our country has only strengthened. I am proud to stand with you.

I wrote legislation to divert Trump’s “Board of Peace” slush fund and assist working American families pay their power bills. The President doesn’t need another billion dollars to do who knows what with – it’s time to put Americans first.
