190 House Democrats voted against a bill today that would make non citizens eligible for deportation if they are convicted of harming police animals, including dogs & horses. All Republicans voted yes.

Congressman Hamadeh enjoyed meeting with Glendale City Council members Lauren Tolmachoff, Dianna Guzman, and Lupe Conchas today. Glendale, home to State Farm Stadium and renowned for hosting major events like the Super Bowl and NCAA Final Four, is a true standout in Arizona's 8th Congressional District. The Congressman remains committed to partnering with Glendale leadership to support the city's continued growth and prosperity.

Thank you to Mr. Keith Paffrath, President of Phoenix-based Forensic Fire Consultants and Board Member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, for visiting the office to meet with Congressman Hamadeh. They discussed key fire service priorities, including AFG and SAFER grants, as well as the need for a national arson registry. A 24-year fire service veteran and Army veteran, Keith exemplifies outstanding public service!

At the @HASCRepublicans Intelligence and Special Operations Subcommittee Hearing: U.S. Special Operations Forces and Command – Challenges and Resource Priorities for Fiscal Year 2027, Congressman Hamadeh asks Admiral Frank Bradley, Commander of @USSOCOM: • Explain, for the benefit of this committee and the public, what the irregular triad of cyber, special operations, and space is? • Given that the Army is cutting 3,000 special operations positions, would this impede trying to implement the irregular triad?

As a proud Arizonan and cosponsor of @RepEliCrane's H.R. 5729, the North Rim Restoration Act, Congressman Hamadeh is thrilled the House unanimously passed it this week! The bill cuts red tape, enabling the National Park Service to swiftly rebuild the North Rim, devastated by the 2025 Dragon Bravo Fire, which destroyed the historic Grand Canyon Lodge and other landmarks. Thanks to this legislation, the Congressman is optimistic that we will see the North Rim's natural beauty restored, safely reopened for future generations, and deliver meaningful recovery and prosperity for impacted Arizonans, visitors, and businesses.
