🧵Thread🧵 I believe it is time I post about a project that I have been working on for a while, that is meant to cater to more serious and enthusiastic language learners. I call it Grammario

@0xIlyy I’ve tried some similar strategies for my app that relates to language learning, but the communities have become very callous towards any new sites or apps, probably because there are a billion people trying to make Duolingo competitors

What’s the best way to promote your projects? I find that Reddit works fine but i’m curious if there are other options.

@daicandev It is a one of a kind app that is able to analyze sentences and “break them down”—far beyond just translating them

grammario.ai I'm trying to learn a language right now, so I might be a bit biased with this. The approach is very interesting. Instead of just telling you "you're wrong", grammario lets you paste any sentence and breaks down every word, every rule, and every reason why. You can even click on any word and it shows you the grammatical concept behind it. Will be testing this out in my language journey.

As promised, here are the top 3 projects (in my opinion) of this post. patronus.studio by @PatronusBen mailclaw.io by @Berson_lott grammario.ai by @msrdkff 🧵Thread below 👇 All details are from what I understood, so correct me if I'm wrong! bonus mentions: defendtheorg.com by @RyanGCox_ climbx.com by @DanielSmidstrup github.com/video-db/bloom by @NischayJoshi8 + all the projects on the post. Genuinely incredible ideas and projects. Had fun doing this, might do another this week!

I will be rating every project under this post. I will make a thread on the top 3 projects later this week. Drop what you are currently building. Let's #Connect!

Grammario hit 10,000 analyses. Every single one of those was someone trying to actually understand a sentence, not just get past it. That's the kind of learner I built this for

The competitor comparison I get most: "isn't this just DeepL?" DeepL answers what does this mean. Grammario answers how does this work. Totally different questions

Supporting 6 languages sounds simple until you're handling Turkish morpheme segmentation and Japanese particles with actual NLP. It's not shallow multi-language support, each one is built specifically for how that language works.

Building spaced repetition that tracks your specific error patterns and builds a study plan around your weak spots. Not generic flashcards — your actual mistakes, surfaced back to you at the right time. That's the learning loop I always wanted for myself and never found anywhere.
