I am a son of a mother who studied dietetics in New York, who taught me that our bodies are a temple to serve Allah by being good to others. My father, a career diplomat and a product of Ahmadu Bello University where he participated in extracurricular activities such as basketball always had time for the family and was my basketball coach since I was a toddler. My dearest Bappa and Mommy, through your quiet sacrifices, you taught me that true leadership is rooted in integrity and that the greatest legacy one can leave is the service of others. I am the the product of your prayers and a reflection of the values you instilled in me from the very beginning. As you celebrate the 49th anniversary of your blessed union, I thank you for being my first teachers and my lifelong inspiration.

An additional two bridges are now fully operational in Sigau and Gamagira. I recall during the last campaign period when it was raining heavily and we had to turn back because the river made it impossible for us to cross over to Gamagira. I saw first hand the level of suffering the people of our heartland go through. Today, all we can say is Alhamdulillah for making our sincere hearts desire come true.

Connecting our most remote regions is a vital step toward unity and shared prosperity. The ongoing BIMA GARU 1 AND BIMA GARU 2 link projects fill the gap between isolated communities, ensuring that sustainable development reach every corner of Lere Federal Constituency.

My dear brother @B_ELRUFAI, our family all in a space of one week experienced the lost of Anty Safiya on the Juma'at of Eid, then Mama Aaliya exactly 7 days in the same home of Anty Safiya where she along with us all came for ta'aziya, and on that same day came another heartbreak of losing our beloved Granny Hajiya Umma. We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the shortcomings of the departed, illuminates their grave, and grants them the highest station in Al-Jannah Firdaus. May He also grant the entire bereaved family the Sabr and strength to bear this irreparable loss. Our root runs deep, the pain we share even deeper, but our faith in the will of Allah remains the deepest. ​The passing of Hajiya Umma is a heavy loss for our family during this period of grief. Most especially Baba, su Mama, our Aunties, our uncles, siblings, cousins, just the entire lineage. My brother during times of grief, I tend to worry so much about my sister and the children. Find the strength through this trying time not to forget them and make sure they are always doing okay and pulling through. Losing a loved one is a profound trial. We find solace in the words of the Holy Qur'an: “Every soul shall taste death, and only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full.” (Surah Al-Imran 3:185). ​ Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, thabbitna 'ala al-iman hatta al-mamat. The 2x60 MVA 132/33 KV Substation power project remains a top priority for my legislative agenda. Progress is being made towards the completion of this critical piece of infrastructure that will transform energy reliability in our communities. Together we are lighting up Lere.

I am thrilled to share that our LERE SUN BRIDGE PROJECTS are rapidly transforming connectivity across Lere Federal Constituency from Jankasa, Limoro, Nasarawa A, Nasarawa B, Sigau, Gamagira, Unguwan Tambaya Lazuru, Bima Garu A, Bima Garu B, Ramin Kura, to Jamaica and beyond. Many of these vital links are now fully completed as work continues at a steady pace on the remaining sites.​ I remain committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure that stands the test of time. All the strides we are achieving in the urbanization of our beloved Lere could not have been possible without the prayers, dedication and support of the good people of Lere Federal Constituency, and for this I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

The $3.4 Trillion U.S. Dollars economic powerhouse, African Continental Free Trade Area (#AfCFTA), is officially prioritizing women through its landmark Protocol on Women and Youth in Trade. Nigeria cannot afford to be only a passanger in this journey but should actively drive it.

In our shared journey through this 10th @HouseNGR, Dr. Dunkwu Chamberlain Nnamadi was more than just a dedicated staff officer, he was a pillar of support, a brilliant legislative mind, and a calming presence in the often turbulent waters of our work. To @Speaker_Abbas, I know how much you relied on his counsel and his unwavering loyalty. To lose such a close confidant is a burden we can only imagine, and my heart goes out to you personally during this incredibly difficult time. If the birthday of anyone of us happens to fall on the 7th of March, then you must feel the hallowness of today evermore so. His congratulatory message is absent. The cake you are expecting given to you with open arms and a radiant smile from him is also missing. The candle light of the national assembly just got dimmer and the halls we roam in feels emptier. We will miss him dearly. To the beloved family of this wonderful man, please know that you are not alone in your grief. We, his colleagues and friends, share in this heavy burden. We pray that the Almighty grants you the fortitude to bear this unimaginable loss and that his legacy brings you some measure of comfort in the days ahead. ​On behalf of my family and the people of Lere Federal Constituency, I offer my deepest prayers.

The Dokan Lere to Ramin Kura road project does more than connect Point A to Point B, it connects people to opportunities by connecting our students to schools, our sick to hospitals and farmers to markets.

Last year was a year of "surviving the storm" of macroeconomic reforms. Today, we must shift our focus to "commanding the sea" as we transition from abstract macroeconomic numbers to concrete strategic growth that our citizens must directly feel in their daily lives.

Our critical mission of economic alignment is clear on our fact-finding mission to ensure that the vision of the Ports and Customs Efficiency Committee is not just a policy on paper, but a reality on the quayside. #AfCTA and extension of #AGOA are a massive opportunity, but it is also a deadline. If Nigerian ports are not the most efficient in West Africa, we will lose our competitive edge to our neighbors. We must achieve a seamless clearance cycle to ensure that 'Made in Nigeria' products can reach continental markets without being strangled by port delays. As a Nation we must be galvanised to have a futuristic outlook, ensuring our water inland water ways are fully developed, so that ships loaded with containers can reach modernized ports in Baro, Makurdi and beyond. ​ The House of Representatives recognizes the tireless work of @PEBECgovng in driving the ease of doing business in Nigeria as every hour of delay at these docks is a tax on the Nigerian consumer and a deterrent to foreign investment. The synergy between the Legislature and the Executive remains cohesive, specifically through the @KashimSM leadership on this committee, as we transform our maritime gateways from bottlenecks into engines of growth.

I am thrilled to announce a major milestone in our journey toward a more prosperous and educated constituency. As your representative, I have always believed that education is the greatest equalizer, hence, I hereby bring glad tidings of the captured provision of the Lere Federal Constituency University Education Center. The engineering design to make it a Tech-based World-class Educational Hub is complete. Deepest gratitude to HE Malam Isa Yuguda, the Board Chairman of @nounofficial_ , HE @ubasanius, HE @Speaker_Abbas and Council Chairman Lere LG Hon. Jafaru Ahmadu Zaki for their valuable contributions in advancing the realization of this momentous project. This university will offer a complete academic ladder: ✅ Undergraduate Degrees for our youth. From Lere proceeding direct to NYSC will now be possible. ✅ Masters Programs for professional specialization. ✅ PhD Programs for advanced research and academic leadership. No longer should distance or high cost associated with it stand in the way of your dreams. From a fresh school leaver to a doctoral candidate or even a civil servant that requires a schedule with flexibility to advance his or her study, this Open University is designed for YOU. This is a victory for our fathers, our mothers, and most importantly, our children. Let us elevate all children, most especially, children from underprivileged families to the highest level of job and economic security through quality education. By removing barriers to education, we are empowering the next generation of leaders and researchers right here at home.

It is with gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that I announce the commencement of construction and equipping of a brand new computer lab center at GDSS Lere, complete with internet and WASH Facilities. This is in line with my goal for the pursuit of educational excellence to provide a brighter future for our teeming students in Lere Federal Constituency. Deepest appreciation to my brother @Dr_AminuMaida the CEO @NgComCommission for ensuring that this project comes to fruition and for including a one year free internet subscription for the new center. The center goes beyond just boosting education but also shall aid job applicants as evermore employment examinations and interviews are becoming computer based.

As @ECOWASParliamnt celebrates 25 years of building bridges, we shall continue to build a region where borders don't divide us but connect us. We are building a West Africa where democracy thrives and infrastructure serves as the backbone of economic independence.
