@SunnyChowTheGuy One instance of pop-in noted (what if you hid back-faces?) Really good. Much more dynamic. It feels way more like "buildings". I'd like to see it with the VFX and Window speed matched. The blue/yellow/red is very distracting, but it does feel nice and speedy

With my normal ambivalence toward a certain topic: For the first time ever, I got a referee report (a document provided by a reviewer for an academic journal) that evinced deep, genuine engagement with my paper and extensive, thoughtful advice about how to improve it. Guess why.

It’s the little things that matter, what are some small papercuts you have noticed in Codex? We’ll fix as many as possible in the next week.

@SoftEngineer So ultimately I expect the first scene to be much dimmer (except the bright light, or the brightness of the sun) The second scene is fine, could be darker, with my eyes being burnt-out by the bright torch. I expect the third scene to be the brightest, because my eyes are neutral

@SoftEngineer If the torch is bright, my eyes adjust to accept less light, and background dims. When the background dims, makes sense if I were looking at a bright object, since my eyes adjust to accept less light. But they're both opposite, and I feel my eyes anti-adjusting. Unhappy Eyes.

Working on adding local light shadow support. Still a lot of rough edges, but we've got 131 fully shadowed lights here. All in the browser, all WebGPU still.
