Of the three major world religions, Hindus uniquely demonstrate a lack of knowledge about their own fundamentals. They don't know Arundhati never preceded her husband, earning her 'pativrata' status, glorified in marriage mantras.  They unknowingly follow the Kaliyuga calendar, started at Krishna's exit, yet agree on a post-Krishna Mahabharata date. The issue lies with researchers ( of 5561 BCE and 3067 BCE)  lacking Hindu basics.

I saw a discussion on youtube between @NileshOak and @VedveerArya3 on dating of Mahabharat. I must say both are extremely knowledgeable. Both have widely different estimates for date, yet both talked with each other with grace and humility. I believe this is the civilized way to analyze research-based topics. I believe that those who differ must create their own content - audio, video, text - and let people decide. I am not an expert in astronomy, but I can see this much from this discussion and many other researches I have read, and my own interpretations of authentic Mahabharat, that - this is for certain that neither is Mahabharat a fiction, nor older than Ramayan, as alleged by many westerners and their disciples. - coming to an exact date is not an easy task. You have to take subjective calls. Hence different scholars are bound to have different estimates. If I were to get into this, I would produce a different estimate. I congratulate all who are working in this slippery domain with passion. I urge research works be analyzed forensically. I also urge all to support @prachyam7's Mahabharat animation project - that has nothing to do with dating.

ALL his 300 observations on hinged on the fact that Lunar months shift due to precession of Earth's axis. If you don't demostrate your understanding of this scientific fact, no proof will help you. Excellent observations,@SanjeevJi. I've personally seen people attacking NileshJi on X, simply because he differed on certain estimates. I believe you should seriously consider creating a dedicated platform for Shastrarth : A respectful space where Sanatani warriors can debate ideas openly, especially when differences risk turning into ugly public spectacles. Our community would be willing to share part of the funding needed to make this happen.Most current platforms tend to amplify only one line of thought at a time.

His main problems are: 1: Majority of his references are analogies. 2: When he says he corroborated something 100%, mostly it is completely opposite to the text. 3: Doing 70+ Error Elimination experiments without defining any Error. 😂 4: casting aside standard definitions of Vakra motion. 5: Not taking eclipses occurring prior to war timeline. 6: Ulta Moonphases and Ulta Balarama’s pilgrimage timeline. Misplaced Balarama’s pilgrimage blunder. 7: NO planetary correlation. 8: Bhisma Moksha in Krishna paksha. By the way, many Mahabharata researchers make the same mistakes (blunders) but nobody goes 2500 years off track like him. It’s path breaking and a lesson for science students across the world never to ignore the key facts.

Respectfully, @JSR1989 ji, Oak ji DOES have knowledge. It is also a fact that he makes up BS and mixes it up freely with genuine stuff. IMHO, he’s more of a salesman than a scholar. But it’s incorrect to say he has no knowledge. As for @SanjeevSanskrit ji, he comes across as not only learned, but also sincere. 🙏

🙏🏽 Ashish ji, another of my sort of Viral Videos shows proof of the blunder made by at least 6 researchers (Nilesh Oak, Vedveer Arya, Saroj Bala, Bhatnagar, Sengupta and Raja, all of whom forgot that Balarama was still in Upaplavya, one day before their Jyestha Amavasya start to their (18 day) war timeline. In their case, who is fighting the Kauravas in Kurukshetra because Pandavas and Sri Krishna are still in Upaplavya, Balarama hasn’t started his pilgrimage?

This is exactly how and why NileshOak ki dukaan chalti rahti hai! - Nilesh is a con artsit others a serious academics. - Con Artsists speak with so much confidence, pomp and gab that ppl tend to believe! - Academics point out problems with untruth and leave it to ppl to judge. - Problem is which 'people' will actually check? Hardly anyone! - Can't expect common people to chk but at least people with influence and those propagating theory should check. But they won't!! -Who has the time to look at facts? - We can spend more time defending Con artists on X but cant take half the time out to cross chk the con artist - even when ppl offer to run thru in half the time.. - Each one has their priorities, including influencers. Can't take issue with that. So, now what's the way out? - First, I believe Truth will ultimately win and the con artsists will bite the dust..we are slowly seening that in India. The British and leftist propaganda had a long run but is now getting faded out..The con artsist too will ultimately not only be exposed but will have egg on his face!! - But we can't let truth be on its own. We have to give it momentum. And that I shall keep doing.. Keep watching..😁🙏

Yes. Problem is that Oak has already lost the debate online (barring the people supporting him for business interests). I have effectively demonstrated 3067BCE fits the verses and proven that 5561BCE is bogus. Every workshop I do, I show every single date’s mistakes. Last time there was no moderator. Which Ashish bhai, brings up the moot point that if Oak was so confident, then why he did not turn up to the Tithi Shastrarth in Delhi in November despite multiple invitations? He could have presented his work but obviously knew that the date would be called out in the presence of experts! The entire Tithi Shastrarth is ‘on camera, uncut, blah blah’. But his non scientific terminology of retrograde motion and multiple analogies would be called out as bogus not to mention doing 70 ‘error elimination experiments’ without defining the error. 😂😂🤣🤣🙏🏽 So he should find someone else to fool about ‘uncut debates on camera’. 😂😂🤣🤣

@sangamtalks hosted such a debate. Have seen it multiple times and that was my initiation in this. But debate had drawbacks that need to be fixed: 1. Time was limited - so each point could not be discussed and exposed threadbare. - Most of the things were left at "agreeing to disagree.." 2. No Judge : Several technical points related to Astronomy and interpretation of Sanskrit need a neutral judge. - A judges absence made one participant claim nonsense as science - example that " Moon goes Retrograde" This is as absurd as saying that "Sun rises in west and sets in east!" But without a person who know what Retrograde is, and how knows how laughable it is- what do u do? 3. Why could other participant not expose? - Well @mmpandit did but was civil as he treated it as an academic debate and moved on, perhaps, assuming that experts will call out! - But whichever expert or even a person with basic knowledge called it out, Nilesh started abusing!! - Which academic has interest in getting into a slanging match? - Didnt want to name him here but let this be recorded - Have cross checked with Prof. C.K. Raju. He couldn't control his laughter when I discussed the subject with him. But he has better things to do than get into a slanging match with Nilesh Oak. - Forget CK Raju - Get any astronomer or scientist to agree that Moon can go retrograde - and I will be a slave of Oak for life!! 4. MOST IMPORTANTLY- Debate is not between shankaracharya and Mandan Mishra - It is between person of expertise akin to शंकराचार्य/Mandan Mishra on one side and a Con Artist on the other side who is taking advantage of peoples ignorance of the subject. 5. For all ur tweets and ur willingness to watch 3 hours of debate, you can spare just 10 mins to allow me to show u what the con artist is doing..especially so since u can be a judge on SANSKRIT INTERPRETATIONS!! u for sure will be able to understand misinterprtation or manipulation of Sanskrit slokas!! @RamMohanRoy108 has hosted videos again on @sangamtalks which, if i state in simple hindi - Oak ki theory के चिथड़े phaad दिए. But what does Oak do? - Only abuse!! - And put unnecessary conditions for debate!! CONCLUSION - Open challenge to @NileshOak for a debate to defend his theory. - Live, On Camera, Unedited. - No other conditions - Is this unreasonable?? Chalo dont debate with me - Im a baccha, a newbie researcher. Dont debate others also. But if ur (Nilesh Oak) theory is worth the paper it is written on then give a point by point rebuttal to Raja Ram Moham Roy's videos and articles - without getting into ad hominem or abuses.
