@typeclonghouse I wondered this too. How can you pay 50% in taxes and have anything left over after monthly expenses. But as someone else pointed out, they don’t have some of the expensives Americans have so maybe it all balances out at the end.

Inflation has proven to be an incumbent killer from 2023 to 2024 but I think this time may be different. Given most of the public blame will land squarely on decisions coming out of Washington, this may not have the same impact on government approval. We will see.

Cheesecake Factory is faded for two reasons:
- decor/interior design codes as low class today
- the name itself (sounds like they’re reheating everything)
In reality, it’s a from scratch kitchen and their production line is a modern logistics miracle.
Give it a high end interior refresh and douchey name like Caké and foodies would be singing its praises
