@noidedmoid Check out Zbigniew Karkowski if you haven't already. He studied with Xenakis but completely shunned formal composition, moved to japan and got into the underground noise scene. Then he died from pancreatic cancer on the way to take ayahuasca in the amazon.

Just found out a mutual of mine (who many of you know but I won't identify on the TL) was shoved in front of a NYC Subway train early Saturday morning by a disadvantaged urban citizen, was nearly killed, and is in the ICU. luckily in one piece
