@dcpetterson Thank you. If you believe Jackson is a “justice”, then I hope there are 7 conservatives rest of your lifetime. Screw all the liberals.

Rumor has it Justice Alito will retire at the end of this SCOTUS term (i.e., sometime this summer). So Trump will have appointed 4 of the 9 Justices. If you'd have elected Clinton in '16 and Harris in '24, by this fall there'd be 7 liberal Justices on the Court. Fuck you all.

@jakirby89 @espn If you think his arrogant, east coast behavior had anything to do with genitalia or melanin, you have lost the plot completely. He’s an ass- with ESPN and the major media giving UCONN so much privilege it isn’t even fair- but he didn’t care Staley was a female, black coach.

I am begging @espn to not let the abhorrent behavior of a white, septuagenerian male overtake the performance of South Carolina and how well prepared Dawn Staley had her team. You eat nothing but cupcakes for months, and you’ll choke when you have real food.

Geno Auriemma is one of most winningest coaches in all of professional sports and instead of losing with class against his highly accomplished peer — he crashed out because his male fragility couldn’t accept that Dawn Staley was better than him and that’s really disappointing.

After continuous community pushback, court orders, and united work from elected officials, we’re seeing ICE backtrack on this detention warehouse near Hagerstown. When we contacted DHS in February, we relayed our concerns about this process – including the lack of transparency, federal-local collaboration, or public input from the local community. They spent hundreds of millions in taxpayer money on this project while slashing health care, cutting food assistance, and denying aid for historic flooding in Western Maryland. And still they continued. So we sued them, and a federal judge granted a temporary restraining order that stopped DHS’s work. Now, ICE’s attorneys are backing away from immediate plans to use the warehouse as a detention facility. As I’ve said before, my top priority will always be keeping Marylanders safe. That means working with the federal government to remove violent criminals – and it also means defending people’s Constitutional rights, human dignity, and efficient use of taxpayer funds. This isn’t over. We’re going to continue working to make sure we hold the Trump-Vance administration accountable, that the law is followed, and that Marylanders are protected. But this is progress, and we’re grateful that they're reconsidering. thebanner.com/politics-power…

Dear boomers, can you afford to buy the house you live in currently with the wage you used to earn before you retired? If you can’t, then that’s the whole housing problem in a nutshell. It really is that simple to understand.

If Geno Auriemma doesn’t deliver a full-throated apology to Dawn Staley for his sore loser antics & a recantation of his false claim and excuse that Staley did not shake his hand pregame, some of UConn’s future recruits need to rethink joining his program & take their talents elsewhere. Auriemma’s postgame behavior from the court to the mic was that self-illuminating, but not beyond self-reflection. In the meantime, Auriemma’s antics are triggering for anyone who has experienced other individuals starting issues at work and claiming innocence in their victim facade afterwards, while getting others to focus on the reaction. That manipulation is reprehensible & deserves to be called out. Sportsmanship is about handling losing and someone else being better than you with grace, & not trying to warp and wrap a salty core with lies, projection & blame-shifting. Dawn Staley, once again, is moving on to the Championship round. Deal with it like others did when they celebrated Auriemma’s well-earned victories too.
JosinaAnderson@JosinaAnderson

Let me be Clear: Geno Auriemma OWES Dawn Staley an apology for the verbal altercation he initiated, & to regain the class he left on the court. Focusing on Dawn's reaction afterwards--who's in a calm state before* Geno spoke--ignores the sequence of events captured on video.

@HawkeyeHouston @JosinaAnderson He has been the best coach in American sports for decades. His record speaks for itself. Guy built program from nothing. Last night wasn’t good. Fine. But his players have NEVER spoken bad of him. He has their backs first. He coaches for them. Again, no defense of last night.

Shut up crybaby! He got out-coached, players got outplayed and out-toughed. No class! However, I would like to see more coaches use foul language during in-game interviews. The fouler the better. Don’t hold back. Maybe then will the networks do away with this idiotic segment
