Here’s why Ethereum is closer to BlackBerry than Microsoft. 🧵👇 1/ Raoul Pal says Ethereum is Microsoft—stable, dominant, enterprise-friendly. But that misses the mark. Ethereum’s more like BlackBerry: a pioneer that owned the early smartphone (smart contract) game but got clunky, slow, and stuck in its ways. 2/ BlackBerry had first-mover advantage, just like Ethereum with smart contracts. But high gas fees, sluggish transactions, and a rigid dev ecosystem scream BlackBerry’s outdated QWERTY keyboards, not Microsoft’s adaptable Windows empire. 3/ Microsoft scaled by embracing developers, open ecosystems, and constant reinvention (think Azure, Office 365). Ethereum’s upgrades (like EIP-1559 or the Merge) are slow and divisive, more like BlackBerry’s half-hearted OS updates that couldn’t keep up. 4/ Solana, on the other hand, is Apple. Sleek, user-focused, and built for speed. Sub-second transactions and low fees are like the iPhone’s intuitive UX—designed for mass adoption, not just tech nerds. @notjonathan @DrJackKruse Not doorframes necessarily, but plenty of other things, especially if you’re slightly over 6. Average us male height is 5’9”.

Taller one is the fast they die during to RPE-SCN and Special and General relativity. That will happen over the next 100 yrs as a result.

@AppWoodHome @DrJackKruse Makes sense, it really never occurred to me 6 was that tall. Seems only a little taller than most and for sure below height of door frames. Flying economy sucks a lot for everyone even if you’re short but yes even worse if tall

Over the last few years things have been more difficult for me. I've had 1 surgery and probably getting ready to have another one soon. This and many other things have taught me about the preciousness of time. For that reason I'm making a few changes. 1. Reducing posts significantly by extracting most of the politics out of the dialogue. Relevant things going on in the world will be discussed in my the Monday show as I'll still be bookmarking what I find throughout the week. 2. Shrinking my sphere of influence and putting most things as subscriber only. 3. And most importantly. I'm going to focus on my health. Going to try this out for a bit and see how it goes. Hopefully it increases the quality of your experience and mine.
