I’m willing to bet the house that private DeFi will be a massive narrative looking out a few years. Imagine lending, borrowing, trading, predicting, perpetualing, hedging… all with full anonymity. Your 10x long liquidation price? No one knows. It only becomes public when the liquidation is trigger-able. Private DeFi can also enable a fundamentally new type of opinion (prediction) market, where ppl bet on subjective outcome distributions rather than objective binary outcomes. The possibilities will be endless. A new wave of hot capital will mobilize in such a world.

“Confidential Compute” A method of protecting data during processing, using hardware-isolated zones called trusted execution environment (TEEs) Code runs inside the TEE, and even the server operator can't see the data or tamper with it. In crypto, confidential compute offers the ability to add privacy and integrity guarantees onto decentralized systems.

What a day in Cannes it was! Yesterday, 500+ builders, thinkers, and privacy advocates gathered on a rooftop overlooking the Mediterranean for an afternoon of talks, panels, and conversations that actually matter.
