@MugenLord Steam has contingencies in place to release purchased games to users in the event the platform ever goes offline. A "physical" Nintendo cartridge that will inherently nuke itself when the eShop goes down has no such protections.

@merlino_games this is something that a few people have brought up before (HBomb in his Pathologic video, for example), and I agree most people - even most gamers - still don't think of games as art. even fewer actively engage or challenge themselves with other forms of art. that's problem 1.
