@paleohanafi @I_am_the_Haider Ah yes the Sunni ahadith that contradict the Qur’an are more authentic than al-Kafi which is actually more authentic than the Epstein files known as Sahih al-Bukhari. And also, atleast al-Kafi doesn’t contradict the Qur’an so nice one

Found this from an authoritative sunnī source from 5th century with a connected chain of narration that Rasūlullāh [saww] said: Whoever seeks Ādam’s knowledge, Nūh’s understanding, Ibrāhīm’s forbearance, John’s asceticism, & Moses’ authority, let him look at ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib.

The Malikis agree and mention that temporary marriage (Mut’a) is Haram by consensus and even go to the extent in saying [in the Mashhur] that the people doing Mut’a should be stoned for Zina, and they're the only madhab who apply the Zina punishment for Mut’a in their middle term

Forcing is oppression and people should not post such things in the name of Islam. It is not permissible for the husband to force his wife in a way that harms her, because Allah says: ‘Do not harm them’… and harming is prohibited in all situations. “He should approach her in a manner of kindness and mutual agreement. — Ibn Uthaymeen Source: Sharh al-Mumti‘ ‘ala Zad al-Mustaqni‘

there is no such thing as “marital rape” in Islam. This idea is propaganda. Marriage and rape are fundamentally contradictory and cannot be equated..

Ibn ‘Abdullāh al-Hāshimī
@Farid_0v The story of his father’s exile is weak. With this in consideration, you’re telling me he didn’t see the Prophet ﷺ even once during the conquest of Makkah (when his father embraced Islam) or during the farewell pilgrimage?

Ibn ‘Abdullāh al-Hāshimī
In Defense of the Companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: Marwān ibn al-Ḥakam It is reported: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away while Marwān ibn al-Ḥakam was eight years old. He remained with his father until his father, al-Ḥakam ibn Abī al-ʿĀṣ, died during the caliphate of ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān.”
[Ṭabaqāt Ibn Saʿd (5/24)] This establishes that Marwān was of an age of discernment at the time of the Prophet’s ﷺ passing. Thus, it is most likely that he saw and retained awareness of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. As for the claim that he was merely a man of worldly ambition, this is contradicted by the testimony of the early generations. ʿUrwah ibn al-Zubayr said:
“Marwān was not accused (or suspected) in ḥadīth.”
A Companion, Sahl ibn Saʿd al-Sāʿidī (رضي الله عنه), narrated from him, demonstrating reliance upon his truthfulness. Imām Mālik and other scholars relied upon his narrations and legal opinions. [Hady al-Sārī (Muqaddimat Fatḥ al-Bārī) (2/164)] It is reported that Sayyidunā Muʿāwiyah (رضي الله عنه) said: “As for the reciter of the Book of Allah, the one well-versed in the religion of Allah, firm in upholding the limits of Allah, it is Marwān ibn al-Ḥakam.”
[Al-Bidāyah wa al-Nihāyah (8/257)] This is not the praise of a trivial man, but of one recognized for knowledge, religiosity, and firmness upon the dīn. Qāḍī Abū Bakr ibn al-ʿArabī رحمه الله states: “Marwān is a just man, among the leading figures of this Ummah according to the Companions, the Followers, and the jurists of the Muslims.” He further clarifies: “As for the Followers (tābiʿūn), they are his contemporaries in age, and he may even be counted among the Companions according to one opinion.” “As for the jurists of the major cities, all of them held him in high regard, recognized the legitimacy of his caliphate, paid attention to his legal opinions, and followed his narrations.” [Al-ʿAwāṣim min al-Qawāṣim (pp. 89–90)] The portrayal of Marwān ibn al-Ḥakam as an unreliable or purely worldly figure is not supported by the testimony of the early generations. Rather, the evidence shows that he was among the younger Companions who saw the Prophet ﷺ, trusted by senior Tābiʿūn such as ʿUrwah, narrated from by the Companions, relied upon by Imām Mālik and others, highly praised by Sayyidunā Muʿāwiyah, and affirmed as just and reliable by leading scholars such as Ibn al-ʿArabī. Therefore, fairness demands that he be spoken of with restraint, justice, and respect, according to the standards of Ahl al-Sunnah. We do not exalt beyond measure, nor do we disparage without proof. Allah ﷻ knows best.
🍁🍉@tempkashmir

He was not even a companion you filthy liar. Ibn al Hakam was banished by Rasoolullah ﷺ when Marwan was still unborn. Abu Bakr and Umar refused to allow him back and only during the time of Uthman was he allowed to return. Marwan is no companion. Rather world worshipper tabii.

@TheMuslimTheist ilm al rijaal is not circular lol it all comes from the quran 😂😂 you’re literally saying your aqidah is circular haha, even your own scholars who used to debate al qadi abdul jabbar agreed that the quran doesn’t explicitly state imamah yet you guys takfīr us for inkar of it

@paleohanafi Not ilm al hadith, ilmul rijaal. All ilm al rijaal is circular, yes. That's why it cannot be the basis upon which the veracity of any madhhab is established. If you have independent grounds for the veracity of your madhhab, the tarjihaat of your madhhab gains some credibility.

@paleohanafi Brother, you need to spend a bit more time reading and understanding my response before replying. We are talking about hadith, not Quran. For the hadith, at most, the ilzaam is for that which is mutawaatir. Because the Quran is mutawattir, there is ilzaam for it automatically.

@TheMuslimTheist the hadīṯh is as authentic as the quran and was preserved by both men, separating between the two is only something a quranist would do. and as for it being mutawatir, the fadha’il of the sahabah are mutawatir, those who insult them believing it’s halal are upon kufr

@TheMuslimTheist so you’re adding stuff to what i said, of course the ghulaat of the akhbariyyuun believe in the tafsir of the imam, but the quran itself isn’t taken as a hujjah as it’s entirely mutashabih and it’s corrupted. it’s only taken as a hujjah WITH the tafsir of an imam.

@paleohanafi Moreover, literally nobody says the Quran is not hujjah. Even the most extreme Akhbaris accept it as hujjah with the tafsir of an Imam. And even that is an extreme position not representative of the school.

@AlDemWallem that’s not what rape is. none of the arabs believe in marital rape, we don’t even have that term in arabic lmao. what we have in arabic is igtisaab, which is al ikrah’alal zina (coercion into zina) you can’t do zina with your wife as she’s halal to you, you can only coerce her.

@TheMuslimTheist how is that when your imams don’t permit mutah in one instance it’s taken as taqqiyah but when they do permit it, it’s taken as not taqqiyah and tashrī’ bil din? thats circular reasoning, and circular reasoning isn’t always fallacious — that’s a stupid claim from a stupid person

@paleohanafi Which again, is a bias of the madhhab because whether what they are reporting is something they actually heard or something they are fabricating is itself the question at hand. Thus, this is circular reasoning.

@TheMuslimTheist for example, in an accusation of zina upon a woman. we don’t take what the brother of that woman says in terms of denying the accusation and making claims of where she was etc as this aids in what he believes which is already shaad

@paleohanafi Notice I didn't say you don't consider anyone else from the other schools to be thiqah. I said every school considers their own to be thiqah i.e. there is a clear bias in favour of one's school. Even then, Sunnis don't take from someone thiqah "if it supports their bid3ah"...

@TheMuslimTheist that’s already fallacious and a non-sequitor, i just told you that we consider some narrators to be thiqa. now, if he’s narrating something that aids his biddah we reject it as the quran itself does and as both your ilm al rijaal and mine does.

@TheMuslimTheist that’s already incorrect lol, we believe the quran itself is hujjah upon you even though you don’t believe that as it’s muharrif according to you and the rejector of any tahrīf at all, is a kāfir according to your mutaqadimin

@paleohanafi Literally nobody thinks this and you need to go back to your mashaayikh because you're misrepresenting your own school. At most, there is ilzaam for that which is mutawattir, not for any hadith that your school thinks is sahih.

@TheMuslimTheist that’s already incorrect, we consider some shias to be thiqa the same way we consider nawasib, khawarij, and murji’a to be thiqa. even in the sense of madhabs in ilm al rijaal, it isn’t defined by madhab in aqidah nor fiqh, it’s defined by mutaqadimin and mutakahirin-
