@rifflexielian all sex favorable ace portrayals ive seen (only ever in fan content, mind you) have had the ace label slapped on without any thought at all. yes i enjoy sex! but i dont experience attraction about it. i cannot find my partner's physical form "hot". thats like... the definition.

ok I really like sex-repulsed ace rep but I think we get more of that than anything bc ppl tend to equate asexuality to celibacy and do not know what to write if its Not That. ORRR they say "sex-favorable ace" and then don't meaningfully account for the asexuality at all
