@ButterPecanHole it doesn't count for the home dex, which is the entire reason i wanted the palkia.. this person specifically set it to be the same level as the one you catch in bdsp too, just to be extra evil

@linkkling This is something i ask for years, add a way to ask a pokémon origin game, not compatibility because it shows the last game it goes on and until ZA (still not available) they are all retrocompatible except let's go

@LOLrenzo02 i know about origin marks, the problem is that home doesn't show these until you've already received the pokemon.
instead it shows the icon for the last game it was in before being sent to home, which is incredibly useless information

@linkkling There's a little symbol underneath the dex number.
Here's all of them:
1. XY/ORAS
2. SM/USUM
3. RBY/GSC (3DS Virtual Console)
4. GO

@Matt104Will that's true.... i just think it probably won't be AS bad since they're not legendary? people don't need to have beaten the game, they might just have them lying around in their save

very excited that i've left let's go as my last home dex to do bc i don't think there's any version/save file exclusive mons like legendaries and starters that i can't just breed? i think i can just go get everything in one save

@BrandonTRabboat the reason i complain is bc breeding makes version exclusive pokemon much easier to get for the home dexes, i'm gonna have to do it legit this time💔

@linkkling There’s no breeding because it didn’t exist back in Yellow. More importantly, it’s ridiculously easy (and encouraged!) to catch multiple specimens of a given Pokémon, so breeding would’ve been redundant anyway.

@linkkling i would kill myself for a shiny meloetta but i would rather kill myself than somehow complete the sv pokedex and im not buying the chicken dance dlc (which im pretty sure needs to be completed for that meloetta)

@linkkling i never played BDSP so i was initially confused at the level but then i saw thats the level you catch it at & my jaw dropped, that person deserves jail

@linkkling It has been transfered around to other games but I believe it should hold the bdsp origin mark? Either way you can keep it yo. Apologies if its not the right one
