oh i should add this. The 8 year old had airplane ears when we were taking off and landing. They bent over double in pain “my ears always pain me” they said. I tried to teach them the Valsalva maneuver. Hopefully, they remember to use it next time they are flying

on my flight, I was sat beside two kids. The hostess came up to me and asked if i could do her a favour. She said, the kids (8 & 12) were traveling alone and if I could please watch them especially when we touch down. The plan was to hand them over to ground staff.

I am hearing reports of some airlines only offering flight credits to passengers for cancelled flights. 

Let me be clear — you are entitled to get your money back promptly if your flight is cancelled and you don't take a rebooking.
