@aonbc1 @jmthrivept I feel like there was an old video from his draft time of him on a treadmill moving much faster… but he was always slow

@DoubleOSnoops @mmjukic I mean their leadership is in shambles and their nuclear program has been decimated. Pretty sure the US objectives are complete

@proofabru @mmjukic It doesn't matter if they just keep it kinda close for months it will be still have a catastrophic affect on the global economy. All they have to do is outlast the average American finacial pain tolerance to "win"

@DoubleOSnoops @mmjukic Sounds like they are moving away from “it’s closed” to its “kinda closed” soon it will be”it’s sort of closed” then it’s kinda open…. We all know how this plays out

@DoubleOSnoops @mmjukic But that’s not closed is it…. Either it’s closed or it’s open and can’t both. And OP was very fervent that it was closed and there was absolutely nothing anyone could do to stop it from being closed.

@mmjukic So is it closed or open? You seemed to believe it was closed and nothing anyone could do to open it for the past week. Seems like Iran is already trying to tiptoe away from the “it’s closed” pretty quickly

@MattMM88 @MacroMicroNMike @theficouple The entire scenario has to be rage bait. Step one she needs to get more hours/a 2nd job or quit the first job or work opposite hours as the husband. Step two refinance the debt or sell the cars and buy cheaper ones (if not underwater)

@MacroMicroNMike @theficouple That doesn't even factor in if that's takehome. Most people express yearly income as pre-tax, my guess is her take home is closer to 20k, so she's working all those hours for 2k a year.

Met a nice couple in their mid 30's. Husband makes $78,000/yr & wife makes $25,000/yr part time. 2 kids and $1,500/mo for daycare. Rent is $2,500/mo & their $95,000 of debt costs them ~$1,900/mo. Living paycheck to paycheck & feeling trapped. What should they do first!?

@MacroMicroNMike @theficouple It's far more likely that debt is 2 car payments than CC debt. He didn't specify that the $1900 was just to service the debt so most regular people would take that to mean principle plus interest.

@mmjukic Why are you so convinced that Iran can just do what they want and that nothing anyone can do to stop them?

@jmthrivept After 10 hour shift, 2 - 2 1/2 hour commute (there and back), I get about 3 hours to fit in the gym, time with wife, side hustles, hobbies, and get in bed at a time to get adequate sleep. All while barely making enough to pay bills and rent. The grind is killing me quickly.

@DoooBridge @jmthrivept 70+ percent of our waking lives? Wayyy too high of an estimate buddy. Even if you work 60 hours every single week you are only at about 54% of your awake time

@jmthrivept Exactly, work is 70-80% of our waking lives, it is to everyone's benefit to find purpose in what we do. There is no perfect job, but you have control of how you view work and that perception being positive can drastically increase your happiness during that 70% of life and beyond

@proofabru @beaglesnout2 @angelicgirliex @GoodPoliticGuy This is such silly thinking. People need jobs to afford basic necessities and yet you don’t see employees demanding millionaire salaries. You can simply tell them that they need to either accept the paycheck they’re getting or they can find a new job, and hire someone else.
