$SMCI will be my last all-in long hold position prior to @anduriltech going public. Once that’s occurred I will sell my equities and commodities physically and digitally to go all-in on @anduriltech Don’t make it complicated. This is the obvious path.
Jawwwn@jawwwn_

.@PalmerLuckey on Anduril: “We are on a path to IPO” ⚔️ “In the low single-digit years. “We want to either be profitable across the business, or be very close to it with a clear trend showing it’s certainly going to happen. No more “toss it in the bin, no need to do paperwork”

@MetamateDaz It was literally like that from the beginning. People do less work for their basic needs than ever in human history. People used to have to work 80 hours/week just to exist.

You’re born onto a planet you never asked to exist on… and society immediately hits you with: “Okay, now go earn the right to eat, sleep, rest, and have shelter.” Like… zoom out for a second. We’re floating on a rock in infinite space and we created a game where you have to spend most of your life working just to not starve or freeze to death. The whole concept is actually insane when you think about it.

@HalSinger They should’ve bought some then. Stop bullshitting and do what matters. It’s only going higher for the rest of your life beyond short-term dips.

Gentle reminder that the wealthiest 10% of American households own approximately 87% to 93% of all U.S. stock market wealth. Hence the booming stock market juxtaposed against plummeting consumer confidence. Riddle solved.

The controversy surrounding the casting of Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of “The Odyssey” says “more about today’s pathological understanding of identity than it does about classical antiquity,” @thomaschattwill argues. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/05/…

@colin_gladman Literally nobody cares and they deserve all the struggle they’re signing themselves up for by not partaking in the most important wealth creation engine in human history, the US stock market.

Y’all have to understand 50% of all households own ZERO stock or have retirement accounts. I talk to “everyday” people all the time absolutely getting crushed right now. The stock market is NOT the economy. A very large majority of this country and world don’t care about a memory shortage or how many GPU’s $NVDA can sell. They care if they can put a roof over their head and groceries on the table. And most are struggling to do that. Make sure you look outside the glass house every now and then.

.@PalmerLuckey: American companies don't actually have engineers anymore. "American companies have been hollowed out." "We're not teaching engineers how to be engineers anymore." "We're not teaching designers how to actually design things to be manufactured." "We're teaching them how to be high-level design shops that put together a design package, that gets sent to the real engineers in China—and they actually figure out how to do the work." "People are turning into architecture astronauts." "They pick components, and they put them in a nominal layout." "But the real work of—how am I actually going to put this together? How am I going to build a manufacturing line to make this? How am I going to need to figure out how to do the one, two, three, four, five different revisions of this board to pass radio emissions and interference standards? That's all done in China. So they are the real engineers." Via @HooverInst

This sort of mindset is probably why xAI failed to catch up to other frontier labs. If he wants to make SpaceXAI into a frontier lab, hope he changes his mindset. Though being a cloud provider is probably something they can easily excel in anyway lol (Colossus is impressive!)

@Beyondsimplify Flooding the market with low grade graphics cards does nothing for the most important portions of the total addressable market. That’s way too low margin to ever matter whatsoever.

I’m 43 now. I’ve worked 50-70 hours a week my entire adult life. I’ve lost years of time with my children and loved ones just so we could afford to live. This life is not only cruel, but unnecessarily cruel. A better world is possible.

@DavidSacks Extremely delusional take. The law of diminishing marginal returns guarantees that there will be a drop off in hiring at some point. Maybe initially there’s an increase but automation inevitably leads to lower demand for human labor in the majority of fields.

Q: How are job postings for software engineers rising rapidly despite AI agents automating coding? A: Because there’s far more code to manage than ever before. We’re already seeing a 14x YoY increase in GitHub commits, and it’s accelerating. AI has dramatically lowered the cost of writing code, so it’s now being used across far more businesses, applications, and use cases. We’re at the beginning of a massive productivity boom driven by the proliferation of bespoke software throughout the entire economy. Coding has been AI’s breakout use case this year. The fact that it’s increased demand for software engineers — rather than decreased it — should call into question the entire “AI will cause mass job loss” narrative.
