@pssd_killjoy just make sure theres no vitamin b6 in it, idk why they put it in a lot of magnesium bisglycinate supplements. B6 is legit an avoid at all cost supplement even in P5P form unless for short duration of time due to the neuropathy risk from b6 toxicity

This is the third night in a row that I woke up in the middle of the night despite taking my magnesium supplement (which was helping me for months, before) and I have no idea why

@pssd_killjoy try magnesium bisglycinate if ur using a different type, its what works best for sleep usually. Been using it nonstop for a year and it still works

Is insomnia medication (that isn’t antidepressants) safe to take with PSSD?

I’m so annoyed of people who have taken a drug that causes PSSD or anything related saying stuff like, “I’ve been on it for X amount of years and had nothing happen” congratulations!!! Think about people who have had their lives taken away instead of yourself for one minute.

medication reddit is crazy because it will be the same medication same dose and one guy will say "it saved my life" and another guy will say "this drug made me see demons and alienate everyone i know"

As someone with PSSD, it’s really disheartening seeing some people in this community saying that OCD isn’t real. I lived for months last year. It’s real, and it’s hell. It’s the reason I was prescribed Zoloft, which gave me this in the first place.

@MikhailaFuller Lexapro chemically castrated me in 2020. I’ve been left with unrelenting side effects ever since. Over half a decade now. This shit is a disgrace and has ruined so many lives and families.

If you're talking about the SSRI debate, it is HIGH TIME people became aware of the devastating potential effects. They can rob you of mental clarity, emotional range and sexuality for years or indefinitely even after stopping the drug. I would do anything to go back in time a decade and stop myself from taking them.

We just received a response to a freedom of information request made to the AFMPS in Belgium. There are 2 patients in Belgium who reported post-SSRI sexual dysfunction and 2 who reported persistent genital arousal disorder using the correct MedDRA codes.

I hope people realize clinicians being awful to patients and spreading diagnostic misinfo online goes further They write for media outlets crafting lack of public knowledge and support They cause severe disability and death, strategizing online how to deny care where they work

This is the ignorance that a lot of people with PSSD experience, both from professionals and people online while trying to spread awareness
