We really need another 10. Yesterday not having Ødegaard and Eze ( Ødegaard especially) really affected our midfield. I won't be surprised if our two big signings in the summer are an attacking midfielder and a left winger. Our recent history has shown that once there is a deficiency, we attempt solving it in the transfer window rather than make do like we unfortunately had to do in the last years of Wenger when we were financially restricted.

What Saka has done here is synonymous to Kepa’s error too. There was an angle I saw on SKY, but I’ve not been able to find it on X. Saka sees Nico coming obviously. Nico kept crawling behind, but Saka’s awareness is poor. Lost his man so easily.

I think people need to differentiate between hating on Saka and just coming to terms with the fact he’s lost something. Theres no shame in saying that. I’ll never properly switch on him but I will no longer have the same expectations of him I used to. It’s that simple for me.
