Building above Central (or just about) is not a practical or necessary thing. It’s a “imagine if” novelty. There’s no actual reason to do so. Could even cause issues for rail infra in the future.

@central01000011 There’s no actual merit to building anything there. It’s not going to somehow be better or more valuable than somewhere else in the area.
At best, even if it’s “not worse” and noise, crowds etc wasn’t an issue, it still begs the question, what’s the point? It’s a vanity project.

One thing that’s very noticeable in GB is that almost all security workers are now from the Subcontinent or Africa. They’ve been totally replaced: railway stations and airports, festivals, supermarkets, etc. Not a single white British person.
