Interesting. LabView has been our bread and butter for nearly 20 years. Certainly not ideal, but reliable. What do you use instead that deterministically and reliably synchronizes the operation of dozens of disparate commercial components with ms precision, handles DAQ at sustained GB/sec rates, and provides an easy to build and maintain (albeit not sexy) UI? Not trolling here, I’m genuinely interested in better options.

@sharbat_c @zamakany @e_mackevicius Just a GoPro or phone camera were used for the gaussian splats. There are some apps that let you generate the splat on-device, like Scaniverse from Niantic.

@rudzinskimaciej @zamakany @e_mackevicius Definitely! There are some great human collective behaviors that are amenable to this (e.g. sports)

amazing project, need to see a comparison between nyc rats and boston rats. i've seen some real violence in the boston area rat population, especially late night at Winthrop Park in cambridge
