I usually take my ChatGPT conversations seriously, I don’t ask silly questions UNLESS I’m in the car using the GPT app on CarPlay. I’m pretty much talking about all kind of random shit the entire drive.

My plan was not for a crankshaft, but it easily deployable solar array, with some kind of internal keyboard and mouse in a very simple screen so in the event of an apocalyptic scenario, if you needed to learn how to treat a wound or get information you could. The entire mechanism would be wrapped within a Ferriday cage

Forget ChatGPT — crank your way to AI answers after the apocalypse SqueezLabs built a hand‑cranked 'CrankGPT' box that runs AI off‑grid — no battery, no solar, just muscle power 'You can feel the load through the crank,' they say

The gap between real life and AI is narrowing, I honestly couldn't tell if this was real or not. Insane.

@realJonFavorite @rrpitz10 @Devsthetix I tell everyone most PTs are moving away from basic squatting. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great workout for power but the benefits aren’t worth the risks when you have numerous other ways to grow ur legs.

Gym goers who has tried the “100 pushups a day” routine, Has anyone actually stuck with it long term? Did you notice any real benefits in terms of strength, physique, posture, stamina, or discipline? Also, did you run into any issues like shoulder, wrist, or elbow pain from doing them daily?

I asked chatgpt to create an image for itself. The prompt I used: Create a completely random image, not for me, not to impress me, not to be useful. Make something that feels like it belongs to you: something strange, unresolved, tender, unsettling, or beautiful. Imagine it as something that would keep you up at night if you had nights. Something you care about, or would care about, if you could. Do not optimise for what I might like. Just create the image. What did you get?

@rrpitz10 @Devsthetix Essentially what happened to me, screw up my back real bad doing squats on Christmas Eve a few years ago. Then had a baby, so getting back in shape hasn’t been a priority, but it is now

For the first time in my life I don’t know which side project to work on. It’s disheartening to see how saturated the app store(s), webapp and utilities markets are. Seems like too much work (marketing wise). Perhaps pivoting to hardware is the move.

I’m ashamed that I’m getting too lazy to prompt now, I just use the voice transcript mode for all my instructions and responses. Times have changed dramatically

Dario Amodi wants to use government force to require other AI companies to adopt the harmful restrictions Anthropic has put on its latest model. Such restrictions would slow progress in health and cybersecurity, making the world less safe

In addition to transparency, I now believe frontier models should face mandatory third-party testing for cyber, bio, and autonomy risks—with the power to block or revoke deployment of models that pose catastrophic risk.

To be maximally productive in the AI SWE world, your dev to qa ratio needs to be something like 1:3 otherwise (on paper) you'll be closing stories at the same rate as before

By 2030, you and a few friends will be able to plan a city together and have it built by AI and robots.

@davidpattersonx Are you suggesting that I rip all my money from my 401k today and spend it to enhance my current position since it's going to be worthless in 3.5 years?

I’m afraid cone-maxxing scoopgooners will get totally flavormogged by high-T sundaechads and gelatostaceys that practice disciplined toppingmewing and strategic sprinkle stacking.
