I genuinely think it’s time Peppy and Slippy became playable in smash. They’re arguably the most iconic Nintendo characters not yet playable (alongside Toad & Dixie Kong). Yeah they wouldn’t be that unique, but 2 more lower effort characters is fine. They’re arguably overdue.

@Chase_247_ Yeah, you won't be playing it with friends in super long sessions so it's unlikely you'll make 999 in one. You just spend it in your own time before hopping on again. Phanto tag is the only mainstay for online but regardless it's a worthy contender for a bit of a game night

yeah but it's a giant buzzkill when playing with people, like imagine youre playing with a group of friends having a great time then suddenly "hold on guys i gotta spend my bellabell water to make more room cause i maxed out" then everyone just has to sit there and wait for 10 mins. realistically, no one is going to do that, so if someone doesnt realize they hit the cap, theyre just playing the minigames without getting any water since theyre capped. i really dont see why it doesnt go to 9999, but if theyre insistent on the current cap the game should at least warn you that youre capped out and you should spend some to make more room yeah but when doing gameshare online it's only 6 games, and arguably the lamest of the bunch besides phanto tag. 95% of people are gonna get bored super quickly

100% Mario Wonder + DLC The DLC is honestly pretty fun but I can't recommend 100%'ing this game to anyone. It turns into a painful RNG grindfest with all of the flowers

@Chase_247_ Capping it isn't that bad you just spend to hit the cap. The games definitely are hit or miss but there are some mainstays like phanto tag in there for sure. Plus gameshare online is a thing too so you can do it with anyone with a switch !

Not everyone has gaming friends to grind the multiplayer games with. I myself played some of the multiplayer games with people but we all got bored pretty quickly so had to resort to grinding the challenges over and over I will say, even if someone has a consistent group to grind the multiplayer games with, capping out the bellabel water at 999 was a poor decision

@ToadlyToad Obviously because they want you to just play the multiplayer games with friends to earn water? Not tediously grind. I don't think they place as much value on the medals as completionists do.

I love the base game and Bellabel Park but why tf do the devs love tedious grinding for 100%? It’s annoying I hope it never comes back

If Smash 64 released today I’m fairly certain the default 8 would be the same I think changes they’d make are swapping Ness, Captain Falcon + Jigglypuff. Likely for Isabelle, Olimar + Charizard. It’s really a testament to how Nintendo’s core IP are almost unchanged 30 years on
