I don't really get the obsession for UK to hire a GM. I think it would lead to so many conflicts within the chain of command. Just my 2 cents

Mark Pope says in his latest video that the will not be hiring a GM and instead are going with a “4 person management team”
Three of those are folks that were already on UK staff or worked for JMI. The other is Keegan Brown
So it looks like no new hire is coming

I don’t understand not hiring a GM. Pope is basically taking people who already worked at UK and giving them new titles….and then adding an outside analytics guy
It still is missing the key person, the negotiator/Agent connection, that I think has hurt UK
But it’s his call

@rgjarrell @KySportsRadio Wouldnt matter, Pope is on the hot seat, top talent doesnt want to bet their careers playing for that. Pope will have to have a stellar year this year to even have a chance to guys but I'm betting he's done for and his reputation cant be saved.

After watching more of N’Diaye’s tape, folks need to be prepared for next year.

He’ll drive you crazy.

To be fair, Coach Cal has been a head coach for 38 years and Pope only 9. Mark is only one title away from tying him. Give Mark more time. Success comes with experience. He will achieve it . @CoachMarkPope
