If the armed population actually retains direct physical control of the workplaces, rogue delegates have absolutely nothing to bribe anyone with.

The meme accidentally answers itself. If people are selfish, capitalism channels self interest into production, trade, and value creation. If people are generous, capitalism leaves them free to help others voluntarily. The system works either way. The real contradiction is claiming people are too selfish for voluntary charity, but selfless enough to hand those same people unlimited political power. It's socialism that requires saints in theory and produces politicians in practice.

Those historical failures happened because vanguard parties actively disarmed the councils to rebuild state capitalism.

@SukaruAnow @rocketman2865 @RockChartrand How do a few recallable delegates monopolize violence against a universally armed population? They can't. The enforcement mechanism is the armed base itself. If a council makes a ruling the assemblies reject, they just ignore it and elect new delegates.

A self-managed enterprise within a capitalist economy is subjected to the exact same laws of value. The coercion is baked into the property relations themselves.

@rocketman2865 @SukaruAnow @RockChartrand You're describing capitalism. We are currently forced to sell our labor or starve because a tiny minority hoards the means of survival. Expropriating the capitalist class just dismantles that monopoly so actual free association becomes possible.

When the population itself is armed, a delegate has no separate police force to back them up. They can't rule over you.

After that, participation in social production is completely voluntary. The people defend this arrangement themselves, making a separate police caste obsolete.

When the armed population manages daily life directly through recallable delegates, that separate machine of domination is smashed.
