@navdeepdahiya55 In my experience quakes with epicentre in or near Delhi often come with a rumbling noise
English

The magnitude of the #earthquake was 4.0 on the Richter scale.
What made it felt way stronger in #Delhi NCR
• Perhaps the epicenter was #Delhi (Not Very Common); Note that the source location and peripheral areas always feels the most of it.
Usual #earthquakes (5-7 magnitude) from the Himalayas would not cause the same tremors in the NCR, as it is at a distance from the epicenter.
• The dept of this earthquake was 5km only, that is why the cracking sound was generated and heard by masses
• Usually such EQs may generate aftershocks within few days, however the magnitude at most of the times is lesser compared to main EQ.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
English

@Rajat26949606 It does say 5.35AM in the first line, though the magnitude is completely imaginary
English

How did NewsX report the news of the earthquake at 5:10 AM, a full 25 minutes before the earthquake actually occurred at 5:35 AM? ...

@kumarmanish9 @urbanvoicesin What does this prove, that the BRTS has not been able to divert car traffic to buses and that there aren't enough buses either?
English

@shilpaanand These "illegal" vends exist because they cater to a significant market segment that can't be met by organised retail.
It is a failure of urban planning that doesn't create viable dedicated spaces for such activity in the city master plans.
English
Its the shops who face the wrath of the law on signboards, on taxes, pay for power and municipal services at commercial rates but its the illegal/unauthorised vends that make money.
Every city same story.

Respected sir please requesting you to please clear these footpath encroachers from avenue road.we can't even open aur shop .pleasee @blrcitytraffic @Jointcptraffic @DgpKarnataka @DCPTrWestBCP @acpwesttrf .these people must be stopped from selling on roads .

@cosmos1234567 @chiragbarjatya India's asphalt highways develop ruts in the fast lane because of heavy vehicles driving in hot summer weather when the bitumen is in a plastic state. Makes driving without losing control a challenge
English

@chiragbarjatya Cement roads are not meant for Indian conditions, due to high temperatures. Cement roads have a lot of undulation reasons most probably expertise. Aspthalt roads give a good drive experience.

I loved driving on the Mumbai-Delhi Expressway. It has good roads, and the way they built stoppages, trauma centres, and toilets on the sides makes you feel like you are in some other country. Very nicely done.
But the undulating roads made me sad. On such roads, you cannot keep a cup of coffee without spilling it. It was a huge disappointment because you know they won't be able to fix it anytime soon as they have already invested lakhs of crores in the construction and the final product feels like someone installed android OS in an iPhone pro max 2TB

@ShivrattanDhil1 @Shivneet Treating their first batch of customers as guinea pigs. Highly unfair
English

@Shivneet Always sir! Customer feedback typically helps them improve, as their R&D rarely resolves all the initial problems.☺️

This is a serious flaw showing up in the Thar Roxx.
It feels like those two years of testing were more of a Ladakh excursion for the testers than an actual assessment of the vehicle’s durability.
How can you justify this in a vehicle priced at 25 lakhs?
It’s surprising that after just two days on the road, drivers are identifying issues that Mahindra didn’t catch in two years.
Mahindra really needs to reevaluate their testing process.

@LloydOsten @Rainmaker1973 Wild bananas are still quite common in Asia. Have one growing in my yard too
English

@Rainmaker1973 I think most commercially available bananas are the same type (Cavendish)

@thotsnprayersss @BrentToderian Let me guess... you've never seen a shopping basket

wtf am I supposed to do, CARRY my purchases with my HANDS like some kind of HAND CAR

One of the most successful pedestrian streets in the world, the Strøget in Copenhagen was filled with cars until a 2 year pilot project in 1962. The opposition argued “no cars means no business” but the street has been a massive retail success, the city’s busiest shopping street.
English

@OfficialGMDA @DC_Gurugram @gurgaonpolice @TrafficGGM While encroachment should definitely be removed, it's actually a failure of city planning where proper spaces for informal retail of this type is not provided for in the Master Plans
