“One of the pilots who flew me said I gave him a scholarship to learn how to fly. A Reverend Father who preached here also said he benefited from my scholarship, even though I have never met him before. I want a country where people can attain certain positions without knowing anyone. I once met a man working at a restaurant in Abuja who said he was a first-class graduate, how can someone with such qualifications be in that position? Any contractor who can come forward with evidence that they received a contract under my government and that I asked for a percentage from the money of the contract, I will quit politics.”

greet you with deep respect. I am reaching out because there is a humanitarian case that urgently needs the kind of fearless, compassionate advocacy you are known for. I 'm so sorry for bothering you, but I have to come because it seems the world had ended for this innocent poor Nigerian Lady.
It's a case concerning one Ms. Ekwutosi Winnie Nwankwo, an Anambra woman, residing in Abuja who allegedly got missing in Abuja since Dec. last year, after receiving a call. Her abductor(s) butchered humiliated and decapitated her and dumped her as alleged and was later found in National Hospital Abuja in a severely deteriorated condition.
Her younger sister, Ukamaka - (Ph: 0901 866 9148), who stays with her at the hospital, has been struggling alone because they cannot afford the hospital deposits required for treatment. As a result, Winnie is not receiving the urgent care she desperately needs. Rufai, I can tell you, this lady is completely abandoned to die in the hospital. The Hospital staff are not ready in any form or shape. The younger sister is the one cleaning her, dressing the wound and buy medications from the street for her.
Sir, I do not know this woman personally. I only stepped in as a concerned Nigerian and as a faithful, helping with small support for food and medication, but I am now completely exhausted. The situation has gone far beyond what individuals like us can handle.
Your work has shown repeatedly that ordinary Nigerians matter, and that no life is too small to fight for. You have used your platform to highlight injustice, medical neglect, and the silent suffering of vulnerable Nigerians. That is why I am pleading for your help; not just for financial support, but for visibility, guidance, and any direction you can give.
I wouldn't have attached his gory pictures and few seconds clips for you at this stage but that is the only way I can hint you on the true situation; please pardon me.
Please, sir, help us give this woman a chance to live, and even tell her story. Allegedly, this seems to be a case of business conflicts / settelment as the abductor(s) never called on phone for any form of ransom rather choose to dehumanize her and dumped her.
Thank you for your time and for always standing for truth and humanity.
Sincerely,
English

A classic case of The Mind vs. The Script!
When I watched that Al Jazeera interview with Daniel Bwala, I wasn't just seeing a political interview; I survived a harrowing real-time absurdity! Like, who even sent him!? Must he attend an interview of such depth?
It's sickening to learn how some set of people have been groomed and used for attacks; not defence - no intellect.
We’ve now moved from weak defense to total logical collapse. That Al Jazeera interview wasn’t just an esposé; it was an exhibition of how people have lost their sense of dignity in exchange for a 'stomach infrastructure' because how does one begin to explain this monumental continental disgrace!
It’s one thing to be 'hungry'; it’s another to let that hunger for power turn you into a MESS on the world stage. 🙆♀️
It's bad that we've lost our place in the scheme of things. Now, this!🤦♀How do you explain this level of absurdity to the world? 🇳🇬
We also understand that 'stomach infrastructure' is real but what in the name of the gods is this?🙆♀

INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION
PRESS STATEMENT
INEC CHAIRMAN HAS NO ACCOUNT ON X, DISREGARD PARTISAN FABRICATIONS
The attention of the Office of the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been drawn to a malicious and coordinated campaign of calumny circulating on social media. The false claim alleges that the INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, has, in the past, endorsed a partisan post on the platform X (formerly Twitter).
The Commission wishes to state categorically that this allegation is entirely baseless, a total fabrication, and a figment of the imagination of its purveyors. For the avoidance of doubt, the INEC Chairman does not own or operate any personal account on X. He has at no time engaged in partisan commentary, nor has he ever associated himself with any political leaning or activity in his private or public capacity.
This contrived X post is a desperate attempt to impugn the integrity and neutrality of the Chairman at a critical period when the Commission is focused on significant electoral reforms and preparations for upcoming polls. It is a needless distraction designed to stir public distrust in the electoral umpire.
Beyond this partisan mischief, the Commission is aware that cybercriminals have been on the prowl, utilising fake social media accounts in the Chairman’s name to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians. We wish to place it on record that several of such fraudulent accounts had been identified and reported to security agencies in the past. This latest fabrication is merely a continuation of a criminal pattern aimed at exploiting the Commission’s profile for illicit gains.
The Commission will not fold its arms while the character of its leadership is being assassinated by digital imposters and mischief-makers. We wish to notify the public that we are working in close collaboration with relevant security agencies and cyber-intelligence units to track and identify the individuals or groups behind this identity theft and misinformation.
Let it be clearly understood that the Commission will ensure that these imposters face the full wrath of the law. Identity theft and the dissemination of deepfake or forged social media interactions are criminal offenses under the Cybercrimes Act. Those responsible for this mischief will be tracked and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others who believe the digital space is a safe haven for criminality.
The general public is hereby urged to disregard this falsehood in its entirety. We will continue to disseminate official information regarding the Commission and the Chairman’s activities only through our verified institutional channels and formal press statements.
The Commission remains undeterred and fully committed to its mandate of delivering free, fair, and credible elections for all Nigerians.
E-Signed:
Adedayo Oketola
Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the INEC Chairman
Abuja, Nigeria.
