When I was in med school, my elder brother and I had no accommodation and couldn’t afford a place to stay, so a friend took us to a generator house in the college. That’s where we slept for over two months. Imagine a place covered in black soot from the generator—completely unconducive, with mosquitoes, rats, and all sorts of insects. I had to wake up very early to bathe, and by 6am. I was already in class. For those two months, all my clothes and belongings were kept in a spoilt fellowship bus that was no longer in use, so every morning at 4:30 a.m. I went there to pick my clothes. Bro, life was very tough, but I never stopped smiling. In all, everyone should ensure they brush their teeth twice daily 🦷
