@GunnerDobbins Its the fact that they tried so so hard to sell the twist that makes it not work for me. They kept trying to tell us, repeatedly, that "all the experts analysed it. Its legit. Trust us bro its 100% legit", by numerous characters.

@poisonedmnd Even if you remove the goofy aspect of "hypno glasses", its been established that the reason Lex never really figures out Superman's identity for the longest time is because he sees Superman as this godlike figure. Why would a god waste time pretending to be some human?

Lex doesnโt even think Superman has a secret identity, to the general public a Superman is just who he is.
He would also never accept that THE Superman could ever want to just be some normal guy, it goes against everything that he projects onto Superman.

Sent this after 75 minutes away at Everton. It was, unfortunately, painfully obvious that this was never going to work. No pleasure in Rosenior being sacked, like Potter he was a good guy just in the wrong job. Pretty pissed off in general with the club getting so much wrong ๐
