Check out @Jumpthewave for more predictors & clubs
One last time in this burning hellscape of a season. It seems we have a few players fit & ready for the World C... oh.

@footballitalia Looks like he's saying "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop and think if they should."
English

Apologies for being that guy but it's not "could of", it's "couldn't have".
Harry Maguire@HarryMaguire93
I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision. I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years. I wish the players, all the best this summer 🏴

@fpl_tractor Tuchel is all about detail, and I've generally found Germans to be grammatically excellent at English so he'll have definitely known this. I'm Team Tuchel tbh
English

@Phantomantle Poor attention to detail from Maguire, can see why he’s not been included.
English

@chairmandec We'll miss the 6 guaranteed points, but fingers crossed it happens!
English
@Phantomantle I think you answered your own question in the opening line .. cos hes a moany cry baby ... maybe playing in the Championship next season.
English

Why's this whiny little crybaby posting this? He doesn't look at the ball either & runs at Delap. Delap catches him rather than elbows him so yellow is correct. 36 years of bad decisions at the Bridge, is it? 💙
Djed Spence@DjedSpence
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
English

@BlakeyTHFC @hbrooks_coach Assault 🤣 Have a day off. Spence looks at the ball then looks at Delap & runs at him too. He's not looking at the ball when the challenge is made, he just comes off worse & is upset about it
English

@Phantomantle @hbrooks_coach When did I ever blame the refs for us being in a relegation battle? To say spence never looks at the ball is literally just lying. And yes slide tackling someone off the pitch is weird, but it was a tackle was it? Straight up assault.
English

It’s okay though because the clowns in offices have decided a split second tug of long hair the player had no idea he was even grabbing is “serious and foul play” but staring down the opponent before an elbow to the face isnt as dangerous?
Don’t the premier league, PGMOL, officials etc feel embarrassed about how incompetent they are to what seems like every football player, coach, fan etc across the country?
Djed Spence@DjedSpence
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
English

@BlakeyTHFC @hbrooks_coach What's off the pitch got to do with it? Most things on a pitch would look weird off it. Spence isn't looking at the ball, he comes off worse, a yellow is fine. To be honest, it looks like a loser mentality to me to keep blaming refs for the current predicament.
English

@Phantomantle @hbrooks_coach You’re just clearly being biased here. Delap didn’t look at the ball once. He does that off pitch, he gets done for assault. Everyone who’s played football before says that’s a stonewall red.
English

@BlakeyTHFC @hbrooks_coach Correct. They both run at each other, there's a clear difference in the rules between being caught by an elbow & elbowing. Refs look at whether the fist is closed, arm swing. You lot are really clutching at straws here!
English

@Phantomantle @hbrooks_coach So because Spence glances at a man who is running at him leading with his elbow, it’s not a red card 😂😂
English

@NizaarKinsella Why did we recall Sarr? We've ruined a perfectly good season of development for a centre-back.

@AliCowper @TheAthleticFC I assumed he had Wolves forced upon him, but maybe not. Always nice on here when something finds its way onto the timeline & you've already blocked the account in question.
English

@Phantomantle @TheAthleticFC Think he's a Wolves fan from memory. Seem to remember a tweet from him when he announced he was going to start covering Spurs.

Saturday’s FA Cup final was clear proof, if needed, of the job Xabi Alonso has on his hands at Chelsea.
It’s a ridiculously young squad, with only two outfield players older than 26 (Tosin Adarabioyo is their senior veteran, aged 28) and they haven’t had an experienced manager to guide the group since Mauricio Pochettino left in 2024.
Add in a lack of discipline on the field (seven red cards this season is three more than any other side) and off the field (we’re looking at you, Enzo Fernandez) and everything points to an unruly dressing room that needs managing more than any kind of tactical direction.
Alonso’s failure to command the respect of the Real Madrid squad doesn’t bode well for a long and fruitful Stamford Bridge reign in what is possibly a risky move on both sides. For the Spaniard in particular, you question the motives behind his decision to take on a club that has spent almost £2billion on transfers and somehow gone backwards.
With their money and their academy, there is a long-term plan that can work at Chelsea, but until those above Alonso’s level work out what they’re doing, it’s hard to see any manager succeeding on anything other than a short-term basis.

@AliCowper @TheAthleticFC Yeah, is he actually a Spurs fan? I assumed that's why he jumped from Wolves to Spurs but wasn't sure the actual reason. Does he not cover Spurs anymore? He's one of those where you click an article, see it's by him & think "nah".
English

@Phantomantle @TheAthleticFC Don't get me started on that bloke. He covered Spurs for a few years and I genuinely think the main aim of his articles was to antagonise Spurs fans with them. Truly horrific. Wish he'd go back to Wolves and obscurity.
