Think that the GST/HST holiday will be a breeze for small businesses to implement? 2 of these Lego sets will be GST free on Dec 14 and 2 won’t be. I’m not joking. Toy and hobby stores often have several thousand items each and no systems change or AI tool will allow anything other than the merchant sorting through each item to make judgement calls with 2 weeks notice at their busiest time.

They're all very familiar with AI tools and prompting.. You'll get the job done, and the highschooler will get work experience and some Christmas spending money..

25 patients booked in clinic today; three "no-shows" - people who didn't attend their appointment or called to cancel. And you wonder, sometimes, why people have difficulty accessing their family physician. Because valuable appointment time is wasted.

@JSwedak @alandrummond2 This is where timing of available appts matter. If appts are only available at inconvenient times, it may make it difficult for the patient..especially those who are likely most in need of an appt in terms of social determinants of health..

@alandrummond2 Also maybe need to understand why. Transportation, being able to take time off work, etc. Struggled to get out the door.

@jmarcus_md Healthcare lags.. data portability was trending 2-3 decades ago when floppy --> cloud and the Internet were trending.. Person-centered design, and decentralized architecture ONLY started trending 10-15 years ago..

A better goal would be to make data centrally available with patient-controlled privacy. It’s not practical to delegate data collation to patients. ‘Easy’ should be the plan.

data portability should allow patients to obtain & reuse their data across services (move, copy or transfer personal data from one environment to another in a safe & secure way, w/o affecting its usability) Central availability is not architectural requirement. See open banking
