I just don't see Cambridge losing to Crewe. Obviously, we need to do our bit first and foremost, but even if we do, we still need them to lose. Not draw, LOSE. I just can't see it. This is where you look at the late goals conceded. Crewe (A), Barrow (A), Grimsby (H), Salford (A).

@markpougatch Mark, I trust that your sensitivity comes from a good place of wanting to keep everything in perspective and support those affected by real disasters. But here's the thing: in order for football to serve as a form of escapism from the sometimes dark realities and challenges of life, people need the freedom to get lost in it. I don't think anyone literally thinks an error-strewn goal conceded is the same thing as a real disaster, even if they use that word. The English language allows many words to have lots of different definitions, and we have lots of expressions that aren't meant literally. So, a bad goal can be a disaster within a subjective footballing context, but not a disaster in the most objective sense of the word. As such, I think although well-intentioned, trying to police language in football is both unrealistic, and ultimately sub-optimal.
