I love America, but I hate to burst your bubble: if you are on Twitter, and you are getting posts about how Europeans visiting for the World Cup are completely in awe of American food and grocery stores— I have to be honest with you and tell you you are being fed complete nonsense by the algorithm.
I’ve traveled to almost every European country, and there isn’t a single one which doesn’t have better grocery stores and higher-quality restaurant food than the USA.

They only beat Paraguay, for God's sake, why get so excited? Paraguay isn't France, it isn't Germany, it isn't England. Wait for Friday's match where the opponent is much stronger than Paraguay.And Australia is not an easy opponent; they have already beaten some good teams.

Is it just me but I have no interest in the World Cup and have still not watched more than 15 minutes of any match. It is all about FIFA and the US and greed and nothing about fans and football. I just hope and pray that it doesn’t filter down into our domestic game.
