Happy 4/20 The original was taken down from my youtube about a year ago because anime studios don't like fun, so please consider this as the official re-upload of Weed La Weed

In 675 AD, Japan banned meat. Buddhism. And protecting the farming season. For the next 1,200 years, meat officially disappeared from Japanese tables. (Deer and wild boar were still eaten quietly—as “medicine.”) Instead, people grilled wild birds. Sparrows. Pheasants. Quail. At Edo-period shrines, grilled sparrow was the specialty. Whole bird. Bones and all. 1872.Emperor Meiji ate meat in public. Nearly 12 centuries of taboo, broken. But chicken was more expensive than beef. Out of reach for ordinary people. So street vendors got creative. They used what butchers threw away: organs, skin, scraps. Meiji-era yakitori was reborn as industrial waste. 1931.Azabu-Juban, Tokyo. A poet named Shinpei Kusano opened a yakitori stall called “Iwaki.” Poetry couldn’t feed him. The skewers barely could. After the war, in the black markets, chicken was scarce. They skewered pork, beef, horse. Still called it “yakitori.” Late 1950s. American broiler chickens arrived. Chicken got cheap. Yakitori, at last, was made from chicken. Salarymen stopped by after work for 50-yen skewers and cold beer. It was where tired men went to find themselves again. 2020s. Michelin stars. $200 per person. Reservations: six months out. Chicken skin was once scraps. Not even a supporting role. Now it’s the star of the skewer. The overlooked became the main event.

one thing I’m realizing is that the majority of people under the age of 24 pursuing “the arts” are just cobbling together influences from random softboy cartoons and video games and very few of them outside the ones I work with have any artistic inclination at all. I don’t think any of them understand that art and cartoons are two completely different things. I am constantly hurled into manic depression by just seeing their output as an endless incoherent mosaic of Steven Universe / Undertale / Cuphead / Hazbin Hotel because their Skyrim modder parents just handed them an iPad in their infancy before leaving for work to zone out forever at their job shift managing a GameStop or Best Buy. Not just that: every character in any given story has some incredibly Nonbiney name like “Spike” and they have to pigeon hole every contributor’s OC (usually a random anthro character with a weird sex thing?) into their works to prevent the in-group suicide rate from cresting 40%. If it were up to me I would force them all to do pottery at gunpoint until they figured out that if Stephen from Stephen’s Universe existed in our world his fat ass would get pistol whipped until he learned to be off putting and mysterious from his traumas like a real man

@realMoonlight88 @ECLOGITE110 @noahsarkscans You treating Genesis LITERALLY makes you a laughing stock of your "community"! One look at other culture stories will let you know that Genesis is metaphorical, even Jews see Genesis this way 😂😂😂

@sanventpipe @ECLOGITE110 @noahsarkscans I answered it but you’re a bit slow 🌋 And you probably believe the Earth is billions and billions of years based on a few simple assumptions and macro evolution as well huh?? 🦎 🐠 🙈 who believes in fairy tales and fantasies now? 😂😂

@realMoonlight88 @ECLOGITE110 @noahsarkscans If the earth was 6000 years old and young earth creationists were right this entire time, why don't mining companies seek them out specifically as geologists? Why are they always hiring 100% classically trained geologists instead? 😂😂😂
