@WeAreTheOverlap I’ve come to terms that there’s a high chance we could end up with nothing, this season. No point being too emotionally attached, when the fact is we’ve not been good enough, again!
@SVCarbaholic Dunno how some sections of our fanbase listen to our manager in his press conferences. Every time he speaks the performances never reflect what he says, quite the contrary. It’s looking really bad, our forward line aren’t capable of getting the job done.
This ain’t even a crawl to the finish, we’re moving slower than a snail. No surprise though. Our performances in 2026 have been mediocre at best & it gets worse every week. It’s the reason we’re out of two competitions & struggling still. Nice to be through but so may concerns
@DTalkingArsenal@GraemeBailey This would be a step backwards and another “project”. If MA leaves you need to replace with someone with a proven track record and winners rèsumè.
🚨@GraemeBailey: Como manager Cesc Fabregas has admirers at the Emirates, and would be firmly in the thinking should Arsenal part ways with Arteta.
But for now, no such changes are planned. The club are fully focused on a strong, and potentially historic end to the season. 🏆 #AFC
🚨NEW @GraemeBailey: Arsenal are set to review Mikel Arteta’s position at the end of the season. 🇪🇸
There is an acceptance behind the scenes that performances have not consistently matched expectations. ❌
Key figures within the club hierarchy have been left “somewhat concerned” by recent displays, even if there is no sense of panic. #AFC
@SamJDean Signing players to reinforce positions and add depth, yet you don’t trust these signings to take mins off your first team. Ridiculous! The reason we couldn’t go the distance was squad fatigue yet, we’re still here 6 years into this project making the same mistakes.
Only one Premier League midfielder (Szoboszlai) has played more minutes in all comps than Martin Zubimendi. The Spaniard is exhausted and his performance levels have plummeted. Arteta's refusal to use Christian Norgaard points to a failure of recruitment.

Mikel Arteta on his emotions: “Fire! I’m on fire! I’m dreaming so much, I have done so much to be in this position. I just see beauty & opportunity. I have ZERO fear, just purpose, fire, direction & conviction that we’re going to do it.” 🔥
@NathanPanter_52 No chance. City are high off EFL cup win, they have momentum and home advantage. We haven’t won there since like 2015, and in our form and the way we’re playing we’ll be lucky to end the game only conceding 2 goals.
The onus is on City to win their game against us, but it’s crazy because the nerves will be with our team not theirs. You just know how Arteta will set up his team, we’ll sit back most of the game pinned in our half, expecting to snatch something in transition!
We need to be honest with ourselves, City have a better manager, play better football, have winners mentality. Best attack ITL. Was stupid to write them off!
It’s so obvious what’s going to happen. City finishing strong, as they normally do. This is a sign of champions, they do the job when it matters. Arteta can’t address our issues after 6 seasons in charge. Turn of the year it’s the same nonsense served up, we’re f****d!
