@alphafox White people usually make a big deal out of weddings, while for a lot of Black folks, prom is the most dressed up and center-of-attention moment they may ever get. Prom is a huge moment for most people.

@iam_biglad1 @SIR_PIUS3i To fuck is sweet, but the kids become collateral damage. When people have nothing, sex usually becomes their only source of enjoyment.

Why do some people still choose to have multiple kids even when they're already struggling financially?

All the women in my family don’t have big stomachs, so I don’t know about yours, but I’ve experienced this firsthand. With my first baby, I allowed them press and massage my stomach, and it became flat after a few weeks. For my second, I listened to una yeye advice, and my stomach looked like a drum for almost 2 years. When I had my third baby, nobody advised me not to allow the pressing and wrapping of my stomach.

She should calculate from her last menstrual period, but honestly I’d advise her to wait till around 10 weeks before making any final decision. I experienced something similar before — the scan only showed a sac, no baby and no heartbeat. I was devastated and mentally preparing for a D&C because I thought it was over. About 4 weeks later, when I finally felt ready for the procedure, the hospital did a repeat scan… and there was a baby with a heartbeat 💓 Sometimes dates can be off or ovulation happens later than expected, so if there’s no emergency, waiting and rescanning can make a huge difference.

Update: There is a sac, but no baby. No heartbeat. No fetus. Because it’s still “attached,” I’m not allowed a D&C. It would be considered an abortion. So I’m being forced to carry this loss until my body lets go on its own. Still feeling pregnant. Still hurting. Still grieving. This is exhausting. This is cruel. This is healthcare right now. Please keep us in your prayers. 🤍

You would think this is sarcasm or a joke, but it’s actually my reality 😭 This man still texts me one random message every year asking, “Are you still married?” Mind you… it’s been 12 years. I’m married with 4 kids 😂

Same. It's been 3 years. I think she's really close to budging, though. Blocking me, getting married, and having a baby was a nice touch to the mind games she's playing with me, but I know she's about to break soon.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder what the world would look like if men didn’t need women for reproduction or sex. Because the way some of them speak about women with so much hatred, resentment, and lack of empathy is honestly disturbing. You’ll see women being harassed, assaulted, abused, or even killed, and there are still men in the comments laughing, defending it, or blaming the woman somehow. Makes you think that in a hypothetical world where women weren’t “needed,” some men would openly treat us like we’re less than human like we only exist for convenience and nothing more. That’s the scary part.

But there are female gynecologists women who are uncomfortable can choose them or go to their clinics, so there’s really no issue here. Just because some men may abuse their position or sexually assault patients doesn’t mean all male gynecologists are bad. A lot of them are highly professional and very good at their jobs.
