@baffyLol I was once playing Yuumi and someone with a girls name in enemy team said “Yuumi is getting boosted”. “Play solo or go back to silver”. I was playing solo. But they were duoing¿????? like the audacity

never heard of this person before today, i was just chillin in soloq playing some nami (its master+ so i am not even duoq), didnt type a single word all game, then randomly as they're ending the game, seraphine says this. i kinda brushed it off cos i assumed its just some incel guy but then they link their twitter and they are also a woman..? its just a bit cringe because i am pretty used to being called a kitten and an egirl etc in a really belittling way online simply for existing and playing league, but when it comes from another girl WHO IS ALSO PLAYING SUPPORT(?) just feels very "pick-me". maybe im overreacting but its so unnecessary imo

I dont want to be annoying but I kinda understood why diamond/low Master players are in challenger lobbies but what about games like these? we are 4 challs and 400 LP master they have 2 challs, 2 diamonds 1 master surely this cant be even? i'm confused

@yuululol My duo plays support and I’m a Jinx main. But when I play solo these supports are so bad I just do it myself xd why is my nautilus playing behind me, you’re in diamond, you know better.

I see this question get thrown around ALOT. As a woman who plays support here’s my reason for doing so. I got into the game because of lilypichu and become a midlaner for that reason, I was a lux main basically copying my favorite content creator. Throughout playing the game I made friends who wanted to play on a team with me, and just threw me on support to fill the slot , even though I was a midlaner at the time. I didn’t say anything about this cause I didn’t really care much, and just wanted to play with friends. Throughout that time playing on that team, I played mostly tanks and hook champs (bard, thresh, Leona, rakan, naut) was my champ pool mostly After leaving that team due to some unfortunate reasons, I stayed on support since I become close to the adc on the team and we just continued to play and duo. I took a break from league of legends , and actually started watching emiliacosplay which made me come back to the game and start playing enchanters. I think a lot of women have similar stories, they got pushed on to support, most of the time we just do what helps the group and makes things fun for everyone, then proceed to just stay on it cause it’s not like we hate support or enchanters. I think riot has done an amazing job filling the enchanter support archetype in the game to ensure ppl have fun doing so and have room for growth to showcase skill. BONUS - my sister came from mmos and healed in them so went to main soraka cause it was familiar.

@Wixxi Your adc needs to be confident and know your champ for a Yuumi lane to work. Nothing wrong with duoing bot with any champs really. Supports are impactful so clearly she is doing her job. Mages abusing bot quest as apcs tho? We blind

@Wixxi As a Yuumi player picking her in soloq alone will make you lose lane most of the time because adcs don’t know how to play with her. That’s why she has low wr. I will only play her duoing xd why would I want to lose the game with a random adc who cries over my pick.

Would like ppl to tell me how much of this lane was ADC gap rather than yuumi hitting 4 qs lvl 1. GM-Chall lobby btw

Make healing abilities a skill shot and see how many enchanter players maintain elo

@bluecatOMG @HEXerathTV If your adc can dodge SOMETHING it doesn’t have to be everything, or knows how to bait spells, Yuumi has a decent lane sustain imo. You’re right though. Still don’t understand the Yuumi hate 😪

@sep_issue @HEXerathTV I dont think strong in the right hands is correct, but can agree she is strong in the right very particular game. Your adc needs to be able to exist in the lane without the extra pressure a different support would give.

This is why Riot removed this feature. Having your teammates play comfort will always give you a higher winrate than forcing them to play something they don't know

I think its funny when men say girls only play enchanters cause its easy and chsmps like nautilus are too hard But they dont realize carrying a game as enchanter is 10x harder than hitting head on keyboard spamming hook ability and if it lands u win the fight

@bluecatOMG @HEXerathTV You could see it that way! Of course with champs that all-in or against engage support it’s better not to pick her. But she does super well with hypercarries like Jinx, Twitch, Vayne or champs that can kite well like Ashe. She is nerfed but strong in the right hands!
