@PaulTassi @GernaderJake I honestly do not understand this decision-making whatsoever, like surely they could've kept like a team of 10-20 for the next month or two to make sure things are mostly settled.
Or are they crunching so hard on Marathon, they just can't spare anyone.

Unfortunately, if there are truly zero balance patches to come, it seems likely that Destiny PvP will be broken to some extent forever due to one issue or another. I mean, forget live ongoing content, competitive shooters still need to be maintained at baseline

gotta find the exact scenes im talking abt but i love how xigbar's voice actually changes when his true identity/personality comes out it's really good direction and (i hope it stays bc it's very hot LMAO) it's a subtle way to convey the difference between "luxu" and "xigbar"

✅Wutai & Rocket Town were excluded from Rebirth to maintain pacing, but they will play major gameplay and story roles in Revelation.
✅Players will meaningfully revisit areas from Remake and Rebirth, with new story developments, changes caused by Meteor, and fresh content.
✅Revelation will contain even more references to Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus than the previous games
✅Advent Children is currently only canon to the original 1997 game. He will not confirm if the Remake trilogy's ending will align with Advent Children until the series is complete.
✅The main focus for the finale is no longer trying to “surprise” players, but rather delivering a satisfying, regret-free conclusion to the decade-long journey

Today June 22nd, 2026 is the third anniversary of Final Fantasy XVI!!! 🎉
I think about this game constantly with its setting and the sheer epicness of each Eikon fights.
Gonna be a while before anything can top the Titan and Bahamian battles, absolute cinema 🙌

Is the playerbase even big enough to generate that much money for a GoFuneMe?
Even if 500k people contribute, that's a minimum of $1k per person, and not everyone can afford that

One month ago today it was announced that Destiny 2 would be coming to an end. Since then there has not been an announcement for destiny 3. Until it does I will be here, no matter how many months it takes.

No "buy now", no "Pre-order", nothing.
These guys have lived in a happy gray area where they get to sell services and products using permanent language while holding the right to take it away when they want.

The fact Destiny is still hovering around 60k–100k going into week 3 while Marathon already dropped off within the same time period tells you everything.
Delivering content people actually want will always beat artificial FOMO and drip-fed engagement.
Let players play everything at their own pace. No forced weekly checklists like drip-fed raid/dungeon loot and re-issued content every few months.
Drop meaningful content, let people enjoy it, then return with another big update at a later date.
That builds trust and trust keeps players around longer than forced retention ever will.
