The university should also be responsible. They charged absurd prices for a worthless service and ripped off an entire generation of Americans. This person probably believed what most of the adults were saying when we were kids: 1. Go to college and you will get ahead. 2. Study what you’re passionate about, don’t worry about the money - it will work itself out. It turns out this was bad advice, and the universities got to make a fortune ripping people off charging 250k for a Gender Studies degree, or some other worthless crap.
