This is Kenyan President William Ruto boasting that Kenyans speak better English than Nigerians 🤣🤣🤣
He is confusing accent with diction.
When African presidents boast that their citizens speak “better English” than others, they are not demonstrating a strong education system, as Ruto claims, they are showcasing a deep inferiority complex rooted in colonial conditioning.
English is a colonial language, not a measure of intelligence, capability, or national progress.
You can be fully fluent in a language and still have an accent that is difficult for some listeners to understand, as Nigerians do. Fluency means you have a strong command of vocabulary, grammar, and the ability to express ideas.
Accent, on the other hand, relates to pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation, which are shaped by your first language and speech environment, which is what Ruto is confusing with good English. Has he ever had someone from Scotland, Liverpool, or Birmingham speak?
Accents are a natural linguistic outcome, not a measure of education. They emerge from the influence of a person’s first language, the sounds and speech patterns they grow up with, and the environment in which they learn and use another language.
Every language has its own phonetic structure, and when people speak a second language like English, those underlying patterns shape pronunciation, rhythm, and tone. That is why accents vary across regions and countries. They reflect history, identity, and exposure, not intellectual or educational superiority.
I know that there is some kind of tension between Nigeria and Kenya, but such misleading statements undermine the confidence of young people. When they hear a president speak like that about how they speak, it erodes their self-belief, and that is not a good thing to come from a president.

Reports are saying that after becoming aware of the Home Affairs raids in their neighbourhood area, these Malawians chose to take the risk, as shown in the video, rather than face possible imprisonment. Africa has failed leadership!!!
Imagine Belgians being forced to jump out of apartments in Britain or France to escape immigration authorities. What does that say about the conditions people are facing? African leaders should hang their heads in shame if they have any left!!

I want to make this special plea to all Zimbabweans from all ethnic backgrounds. Let us not amplify the voices of wicked, cruel, and bad people in our midst. We know who they are. We know that they create divisions within communities and within ethnic groups. Some of them are even funded to do so. Because if we remain divided, those who exploit us will continue to remain strong.
So I want to appeal to you, my dear brothers and sisters, whether you are Ndebele, Shona, Shangani, Nambya, or from any other ethnic group, please let us not amplify the voices of people who divide us. I have been tagged in so many posts where you have a Shona man saying bad things about Ndebele people or a Ndebele man saying bad things about Shona people. Please do not tag me in those posts, because I will never repost them or comment on them. By doing so, I would be irresponsible. I have over 1.7 million people following me across three social media platforms, and the moment I respond to or amplify that nonsense, I give that person access to those 1.7 million people. That would be irresponsible, and that is why I will never participate in those kinds of discussions.
I am not a tribalist. I am not a racist. I am a decent human being who wants to live in harmony with my compatriots from Zimbabwe and with people wherever I live, whether in South Africa or in Britain. I have lived in many countries and studied in different environments where there were significant differences in ethnic identity between myself and others, yet we got on very well. So what would stop me from getting along with my own people?
As a man, I have had relationships across different ethnic groups, Ndebele, Manyika, Karanga, and even those close to me such as Zezuru, as I was growing up. I was never taught to hate a person on the basis of their ethnic identity.
So please, let us not amplify such destructive voices in our communities. Block them if you can. The moment you amplify, retweet, or reshare such content, you are participating in it. You are validating it. And that is something we must all reject.
Tribalists are useless people with no purpose in life except destroying communities.

@MmusiMaimane @SADailyLives @SAPoliceService @NPA_Prosecutes @CyrilRamaphosa It has ALREADY ended in murder in some cases in the past.
English

Today it’s a a Zimbabwean tomorrow they will beat up someone from Limpopo.
It does not start and stop with one group, someone who loves violence will keep creating justifications for their violence. They will even do this in their own homes. This will end in murder if it is not stopped now.
We cannot claim we want people to follow laws while breaking laws ourselves. We can’t kill people in the name of solving immigration.
The real problem is Zanu PF and Frelimo. These two organisations have destroyed Zimbabwe and Mozambique and caused a mass exodus of their people. The ANC supports these organisations and helps them stay in power. We must confront the root cause.
Beating up a hungry homeless man is not solving the problem. It is abuse in the name of policy.
English

This man should be found and arrested @SAPoliceService @NPA_Prosecutes @CyrilRamaphosa.
He chose to publicly commit a crime of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in common purpose with his colleagues.
We cannot take a moral stand in world affairs while we allow this level of criminality.

I couldn’t be more in agreement with all of this🔥
“Children don’t come into this world confused. They come in wanting candy and toys. They want to play. They want to have fun… they don’t come in wondering about their privates or about their inclinations or s*xuaI instincts.
No, it’s unstable, perverted adults that are indoctrinating young children, that are confusing the least of these by planting suggestions in their mind, showing them pictures and asking them to experiment…
I think it is mental child abuse. I think it is psychological brainwashing. I think it ought to be a crime. I think parents ought to rise up… And the government is silent about it and crooked about it. And they’re teaching our children things we don’t want them to know. And they’re exposing them too early and they’re convincing them of something that isn’t even the truth.
To me, that is a crime against humanity. And if you are a school teacher who is doing this, you, in my opinion, are a criminal. And if you are a school principal who’s promoting this, you are a criminal. And if you’re the school board who’s pushing this, you’re all criminals. You’re aiding and abetting perversion and you’re ruining children and our society.”
Children are born innocent — adults are the ones confusing them!

If only christians can be a little bit mad, Christian genocide and persecution would have ended in Nigeria long ago.
I watched the video of the k#napped John, and how he denied his faith out of fear and I wish to say
Imagine if christians were the ones that k#dnapped a Muslim believer and made mockery of his faith in that manner.
Imagine what would have been the reaction of Muslims all around the country.
By now, many churches would be on flames and no Christian in a Muslim dominated area will be safe.
I hate Christianity not because it is evil but because it preaches peace when peace is not an option.
Christians should learn how to fight
Christians should learn how to retaliate
Christians should learn how to pay evil for evil
Christian persecution and genocide will end in Nigeria, The day,
Christians learn how to fight back.
The day, they learn how to klll back in retaliation.
The day, they learn how to burn mosque back in retaliation for every church būrnt by the Islamic extrem1sts.
I don't hãte Islam, I only hãte that fact that they hate other religion.
These extremists are not doing what they're doing because they're too powerful, they're doing it because they're being tolerated.
They're doing it because Christians have proven to them to be too weãk.
The day they see madness, they'll surrender.
Queen Ammy
