In an effort to silence critics who mistake the poet's signature punctuation for AI, the Emily Dickinson Museum is officially rebranding as the Em Dash Museum. The Museum aims to reclaim the dash from modern technological woes and return it to its rightful owner.

Earlier this evening I spoke with President Trump and congratulated him on the successful launch of Artemis II.    We discussed the courage of the astronauts, including Colonel Jeremy Hansen, the value of cooperation in space, and developments in the Middle East conflict.

🐢 Jonathan was born in 1832. When he hatched Napoleon had been dead for 11 years. The American Civil War hadn't happened yet. Darwin hadn't published On the Origin of Species. He has lived through 40 US presidents, 2 world wars, the invention of electricity, flight, nuclear weapons, the internet, and AI. His biology holds a clue scientists are actively studying. Giant tortoises show negligible senescence their cells don't deteriorate with age the way mammalian cells do. At 194, Jonathan's organs function comparably to a young adult tortoise. The longevity gene research happening right now in human medicine is partly inspired by what Jonathan's biology already does naturally. He isn't just old. He's a living proof of concept. 📌 Source: Guinness World Records, negligible senescence research, giant tortoise longevity biology studies

it is extraordinary that instead of celebrating america’s engineering prowess at the artemis launch, president trump is tilting at windmills at an idiotic case that never should have reached the supreme court.

Liftoff. The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon. Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.

I've deleted this. It appears to be from a crypto scammer. The governor of St Helena just told @horton_official he went outside to check on the tortoise, who was sleeping as it is past his bedtime, but he is very much alive. I'm really sorry.

Trump muses about being a king: "I can't get a ballroom approved. It's pretty amazing, right? If I was a king, we'd be doing a lot more. I'm doing a lot, but I could be doing a lot more if I was a king."

This is my favorite climate change chart. Japanese monks, aristocrats, and emperors kept meticulous records of cherry blossom festivals for 1,200 years and accidentally built the world's longest climate dataset.

Canada is a nation of explorers, builders, and innovators. Today Colonel Jeremy Hansen carries that legacy forward as he becomes first Canadian to venture to the Moon.
